Abstract

In order to improve a noise emission or noise emission which is caused by a vehicle, according to the invention the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F) is determined with a method for controlling and/or regulating a load (L) of a vehicle (F) by means of a pickup unit (6, 6A to 6C) with reference to at least one operating variable (B) of the vehicle (F), the operating variable (B) being controlled and/or regulated by means of a control unit or regulator unit (2) as a function of a noise level (G(G), G(F), G(U)) resulting from the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F).

Claims

1. A method for controlling and/or regulating a load (L) of a vehicle (F), the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F) being determined by means of at least one operating variable (B) of the vehicle (F) by means of a pickup unit (6, 6A to 6C), and the operating variable (B) being controlled and/or regulated by means of a control unit or regulator unit (2), characterized in that the operating variable (B) is controlled and/or regulated by means of the control unit or regulator unit (2) as a function of a noise level (G(F)) resulting from the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F).

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the operating variable (B) on which the noise level (G(F)) is based is used as the operating variable (B).

3. The method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a rotational speed, a torque, a velocity and/or an acceleration are used as the operating variable (B).

4. The method as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the noise level (G(G), G(F), G(O)) is determined by reference to the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F) and/or by reference to ambient noises (8).

5. The method as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the noise level (G(G), G(F), G(O)) is monitored for compliance with a limiting value (Gmax).

6. The method as claimed in one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the operating variable (B) is controlled and/or regulated as a function of the instantaneous position (P(F)) of the vehicle (F).

7. The method as claimed in one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the operating variable (B) is controlled and/or regulated as a function of time.

An arrangement (1) for controlling and/or regulating a load (L) of a vehicle (F) with a pickup unit (6, 6A to 6C) for determining the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F) by reference to at least one operating variable (B) of the vehicle (F) and a control unit or regulator unit (2) for controlling and/or regulating the operating variable (B), characterized in that the operating variable (B) can be controlled and/or regulated by means of the control unit or regulator unit (2) as a function of a noise level (G(F)) resulting from the instantaneous load (L) of the vehicle (F).

9. The arrangement as claimed in claim 8, characterized in that the pickup unit (6A, 6B) comprises a noise sensing system (16, 16A, 16B) for determining the ambient noises (8) and/or vehicle-related noises.

10. The arrangement as claimed in claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the pickup unit (6) is provided for sensing a velocity, an acceleration, a drive rotational velocity and/or a drive torque.

The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 10, characterized in that a pickup unit (6C) a location-determining system (32, 36, 38) for determining the instantaneous position (P(F)) of the vehicle and/or an information system (34, 12) for determining a resulting, ambient noise level (G(U)) is provided.

12. The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the control unit or regulator unit (2) has an input device (14) for manually controlling and/or regulating the operating variable (B).

The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 12, characterized in that, during the control and/or regulation of the operating variable (B), the control unit or regulator unit (2) takes into account predefined values of external systems, in particular of a traffic control system, via the pickup unit (6C).

The arrangement as claimed in claim 13, characterized in that the predefined values of external systems relating to the control and/or regulation of the operating variable (B) can be approved by the driver (40) of the vehicle and/or by an occupant of the vehicle by means of the control unit or regulator unit (2).

15. The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 14, characterized in that an output unit (10) is provided for outputting vehicle-related and/or ambient data, in particular the instantaneous position (P(F)) of the vehicle and the operating variable (B).

The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 15, characterized in that the interventions of the control unit or regulator unit (2) into the vehicle system during the control and/or regulation of the operating variable (B) and the vehicle-related operating variables (B) are stored in the data memory (12) for documentation purposes.

17. The arrangement as claimed in claim 16, characterized in that statistics can be created from the data (D) stored in the data memory (12).

18. The arrangement as claimed in claim 16 or 17, characterized in that recommendations for maintenance and repair of the vehicle can be derived from the data (D) stored in the data memory (12).

19. The arrangement as claimed in one of claims 8 to 18, characterized in that the interventions of the control unit or regulator unit (2) into the vehicle system during the control and/or regulation of the operating variable (B) can be transferred to an external system for monitoring.
