Abstract

An improved air pulse generator produces high frequency chest wall oscillations (HFCWO) and has an improved air pulse generator. The air pulse module has a reduced size and improved shape for ease of use by a patient.

Claims

1. An air pulse module for an air pulse generator, the air pulse module comprising:

an air chamber shell having a volume of about 130 in³;

a blower for producing a steady state pressure component within the air pulse module;

a blower motor for driving the blower;

a first diaphragm assembly for producing an oscillating pressure component within the air pulse module; and

a second diaphragm assembly for producing the oscillating pressure component with the air pulse module.
