- determining a current usage value for at least one mode of the mobile device responsive to accessing of the at least one mode by the mobile device;
storing the current usage value for the at least one mode in a table at a location associated with the at least one mode; and
determining the remaining usage time for the at least one mode of the mobile device responsive to the stored current usage value at the location associated with the at least one node.

determining a current usage value for a at least one mode for the mobile device responsive to accessing of the at least one mode by the mobile device;
determining if the at least one mode has a previously stored current usage value;
generating a new location associated with the at least one mode in the table if the at least one mode does not have the previously stored current usage value;
storing the current usage value in the generated new location;
replacing the previously stored current usage value with the current usage value if the at least one mode has the previously stored current usage value;
filtering the current usage value prior to replacing the previously stored current usage value to limit an amount of change in the current usage value; and
determining the remaining usage time for the at least one mode of the mobile device responsive to the stored current usage value at the location associated with the at least one node. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13)

first circuitry for determining current usage value for each of a plurality of modes of the mobile device;
a table having a plurality of storage locations therein for storing current usage values, each of the storage locations associated with one of the plurality of modes; and

25. A self learning table for storing current usage values in a mobile device, comprising:

a plurality of storage locations for storing current usage values;
a plurality of mobile telephone mode identifiers each associated with one of the plurality of storage locations; and
wherein upon detection of operation in a new mode of the mobile device, a new storage location and mobile telephone mode identifier are generated in the table for a current usage value associated with the new mode.
