Abstract
An ink characterized by containing at least one compound selected from phthalocyanine compounds represented by the general formulae (I), (II), (III) and (IV) has an absorption characteristic superior in color reproducibility as dyes of three primary colors and has sufficient fastness to light, heat, humidity, and active gases in an environment, and hence, can give colored images or colored materials having superior46. The ink can be used for various coloring compositions such as ink compositions for inkjet printing, ink sheets in thermal transfer image-forming materials, coloring compositions for color filters in electrophotographic toners, LCD, PDP, and CCD, and dyeing baths for dyeing various fibers.
