Abstract

To provide a device capable of determining a delivery destination of an event automatically without requiring choosing operation of an operator. An event entered through an event input means 4 is given to a delivery destination determining means 6 which in turn determines to which of applications AP1, AP2, . . . , APn the given event is to be delivered according to the contents of the event and according to delivery destination determining information stored in a delivery destination determining information storing section, and delivers accordingly. Therefore, the event is delivered to an appropriate application even if the operator does not choose an addressed application.

Claims

1. An event sending method in a digital broadcasting receiver for sending to an application an event corresponding to an input from a user, comprising:

a step for accepting receivable event information identifying an event that is capable of being received by the application, the application capable of executing a process based on the event;

a step for determining an application to which the event is sent based on application determining information that defines which application receives the event based on the receivable event information; and

a step for sending the event to the appellation determined in the step for determining the application;

wherein the determined application is a focused application.

2. The event sending method according to claim 1, further comprising sending the event to the focused application.

3. The event sending method according to claim 1, wherein the determination is based on stored application determining information.

4. The event sending method according to claim 1, in the step for accepting receivable event information, the receivable event information is accepted through a digital broadcast to the receiver.
