Dynamo-electric machine
First Claim
1. A rotary electric machine comprising a stator and a rotor arranged in an opposed relation to said stator, said rotor comprising a core, a plurality of conductor bars inserted respectively through a plurality of holes axially formed in said core, and end rings attached to opposite ends of said conductor bars, wherein said conductor bars and said end rings are made of an aluminum material, and said end rings are electrically and mechanically joined to the opposite ends of said conductor bars with friction stir welding.
