Abstract

Providing life support services to a user, including receiving a plurality of disparate behavior indicators, filtering the behavior indicators for a user in dependence upon user filter attributes, thereby producing filtered behavior indicators, and inferring an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the filtered behavior indicators.

Claims

1. A method of providing life support services to a user, the method comprising:

receiving a plurality of disparate behavior indicators;

filtering the behavior indicators for a user in dependence upon user filter attributes, thereby producing filtered behavior indicators; and

inferring an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the filtered behavior indicators.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein inferring an abstract behavior pattern comprises:

comparing a first filtered behavior indicator with a second filtered behavior indicator; and

determining a relationship between the first filtered behavior indicator and the second filtered behavior indicator.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises identifying an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the determined relationship.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises determining that the determined relationship is within a predetermined range.

5. The method of claim 2, wherein inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises determining whether the determined relationship exceeds a predetermined threshold.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising identifying an action to be taken in dependence upon the abstract behavior pattern.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising executing the identified action.

8. A system for providing life support services to a user, the system comprising:

means for receiving a plurality of disparate behavior indicators;

means for filtering the behavior indicators for a user in dependence upon user filter attributes, thereby producing filtered behavior indicators; and

means for inferring an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the filtered behavior indicators.

9. The system of claim 8 wherein means for inferring an abstract behavior pattern comprises:

means for comparing a first filtered behavior indicator with a second filtered behavior indicator; and

means for determining a relationship between the first filtered behavior indicator and the second filtered behavior indicator.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein means for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means for identifying an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the determined relationship.

11. The system of claim 9, wherein means for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means for determining that the determined relationship is within a predetermined range.

12. The system of claim 9, wherein means for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means for determining whether the determined relationship exceeds a predetermined threshold.

13. The system of claim 8, further comprising means for identifying an action to be taken in dependence upon the abstract behavior pattern.

14. The system of claim 13, further comprising means for executing the identified action.

15. A computer program product for providing life support services to a user, the computer program product comprising:

a recording medium;

means, recording on the recording medium, for receiving a plurality of disparate behavior indicators;

means, recording on the recording medium, for filtering the behavior indicators for a user in dependence upon user filter attributes, thereby producing filtered behavior indicators; and

means, recording on the recording medium, for inferring an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the filtered behavior indicators.

16. The computer program product of claim 15 wherein means, recording on the recording medium, for inferring an abstract behavior pattern comprises:

means, recording on the recording medium, for comparing a first filtered behavior indicator with a second filtered behavior indicator; and

means, recording on the recording medium, for determining a relationship between the first filtered behavior indicator and the second filtered behavior indicator.

17. The computer program product of claim 16, wherein means, recording on the recording medium, for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means, recording on the recording medium, for identifying an abstract behavior pattern in dependence upon the determined relationship.

18. The computer program product of claim 16, wherein means, recording on the recording medium, for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means, recording on the recording medium, for determining that the determined relationship is within a predetermined range.

19. The computer program product of claim 16, wherein means, recording on the recording medium, for inferring an abstract behavior pattern further comprises means, recording on the recording medium, for determining whether the determined relationship exceeds a predetermined threshold.

20. The computer program product of claim 15, further comprising means, recording on the recording medium, for identifying an action to be taken in dependence upon the abstract behavior pattern.

21. The computer program product of claim 20, further comprising means, recording on the recording medium, for executing the identified action.
