Abstract

The invention relates to removable, essentially cylindrical implants which are characterized in that they can be reduced in diameter and are wrapped once or several times at one or more levels by one or more elastic, thin wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) which include(s) a catch device (3a, 3b) at least on one end thereof.

Claims

1. Removable, essentially cylindrical implants, characterized in that they can be reduced in diameter and are wrapped once or several times at one or more levels by one or more elastic, thin, wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b), which has or have at least on one end a catch device (3a, 3b).

2. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1, characterized in that the implant (1) is made of a lattice or mesh of metal or plastic, optionally with an open groove.

3. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) is/are made of metal or plastic.

4. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 3, characterized in that one or more ends (4a, 4b) of the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) is/are secured on or in the implant (1).

5. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 4, characterized in that the catch device (3a, 3b) is configured as thickened end, eyelet or loop.

6. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 5, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) embrace(s) the implant (1) at one level only.

7. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 6, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) embrace(s) the implant (1) in a helical manner.

8. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 7, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) extend(s) between the implant (1) and an outer jacket.

9. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 8, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) is/are configured over the entire length of the implant (1).

10. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 8, characterized in that the wire-shaped structure(s) (2a, 2b) extend(s) only at the upper end of the implant (1).

11. Cylindrical implants according to claim 1 to 10, characterized in that they can be captured through visualization using endoscopy or through use of X-ray control without direct visualization.
