Abstract

An information providing system includes a plurality of cameras installed in a game arcade for taking images of a situation in the game arcade, and a terminal installed in a guest room of a hotel for selectively displaying the images of the situation in the game arcade taken by the cameras.

Claims

1. An information providing system for providing information on a game arcade and a hotel, comprising:

a plurality of photographing means provided in the game arcade for taking images of a situation in the game arcade; and

displaying means provided in a guest room of the hotel for displaying the images of the situation in the game arcade taken by the photographing means.

2. An information providing system as set forth in claim 1, wherein the displaying means allows selection of the images and displays one of the images selected by a user'"'"'s input operation.

3. An information providing system as set forth in claim 1, further comprising:

a card storing first identifier identifying user; and

card reading means provided in the game arcade for reading the first identifier stored in the card;

wherein,

the displaying means displays the first identifier read by the card reading means.

4. An information providing system as set forth in claim 2, further comprising:

camera identifier related to each of the photographing means;

a card storing first identifier identifying the user;

card reading means containing second identifier identifying each gaming machine installed in the game arcade, for reading the first identifier stored in the card together with the second identifier;

the displaying means allows selection of the images taken by the photographing means and displays an image selected by the user'"'"'s input operation, and also obtains from the card reading means the second identifier corresponding to the camera identifier related to the photographing means taking at least one of the images and the first identifier read together with the second identifier and displays the obtained first identifier and the second identifier.

5. An information providing system as set forth in claim 4, wherein the first identifier includes an ID assigned to the user, the name of the user and/or a nationality of the user.

6. An information providing system as set forth in claim 4, further comprising:

tabulating means for managing the second identifier read from the card reading means for each gaming machine;

wherein,

the displaying means displays the second identifier managed by the tabulating means for each gaming machine.

7. An information providing system as set forth in claim 6, wherein the displaying means displays one of the images selected by the user'"'"'s input operation and displays the second identifier managed by the tabulating means for each gaming machine.

8. An information providing system as set forth in claim 4, wherein the displaying means controls at least one electric device.

9. An information providing system as set forth in claim 8, wherein the electric device is an air conditioner, audio equipment, a video, a camera, a printer, or a personal computer.

10. An information providing system as set forth in claim 8, wherein the displaying means is connected to the Internet.

11. An information providing system for providing information on a game arcade and a hotel, comprising:

a plurality of cameras provided in the game arcade for taking images of a situation in the game arcade; and

a display terminal provided in a guest room of the hotel for displaying the images of the situation in the game arcade taken by the cameras.
