Abstract

In an information processing system provided with a camera and a microphone, for transmitting and receiving information of a user to and from another information processing system through a transmission lime, image data of the user obtained by a camera is stored in a memory in advance. When one user communicates another user, image data of the one user is obtained by the camera and is synthesized with the image data stored in the memory in advance by image-processing. The clothes, hair, background, make-up etc. of the one user are made different to reality and the image data are transmitted to the another user in the communication.

Claims

1. A personal computer comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit; and

a microphone operationally connected to the micro processing unit.

2. The personal computer according to claim 1 further comprising a keyboard.

3. The personal computer according to claim 1 further comprising a memory.

4. A personal computer comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a camera operationally connected to the micro processing unit; and

a microphone operationally connected to the micro processing unit.

5. The personal computer according to claim 4 further comprising a keyboard.

6. The personal computer according to claim 4 further comprising a memory.

7. The personal computer according to claim 4 further comprising:

means for detecting a degree of tiredness of a user of the personal computer;

means for modifying an image data obtained by the camera based on the degree of tiredness; and

means for transmitting the modified image data.

8. A personal computer comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a memory operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a multiplexer operationally connected to the memory;

a camera operationally connected to the multiplexer through a digital signal processor; and

a microphone operationally connected to the multiplexer through an A/D converter.

9. The personal computer according to claim 8 further comprising a keyboard.

10. The personal computer according to claim 8 further comprising:

means for detecting a degree of tiredness of a user of the personal computer;

means for modifying an image data obtained by the camera based on the degree of tiredness; and

means for transmitting the modified image data.

11. A workstation comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit; and

a microphone operationally connected to the micro processing unit.

12. The workstation according to claim 11 further comprising a keyboard.

13. The workstation according to claim 11 further comprising a memory.

14. A workstation comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a camera operationally connected to the micro processing unit; and

a microphone operationally connected to the micro processing unit.

15. The workstation according to claim 14 further comprising a keyboard.

16. The workstation according to claim 14 further comprising a memory.

17. The workstation according to claim 14 further comprising:

means for detecting a degree of tiredness of a user of the workstation;

means for modifying an image data obtained by the camera based on the degree of tiredness; and

means for transmitting the modified image data.

18. A workstation comprising:

a micro processing unit;

a display unit operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a speaker operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a memory operationally connected to the micro processing unit;

a multiplexer operationally connected to the memory;

a camera operationally connected to the multiplexer through a digital signal processor; and

a microphone operationally connected to the multiplexer through an A/D converter.

19. The workstation according to claim 18 further comprising a keyboard.

20. The workstation according to claim 18 further comprising:

means for detecting a degree of tiredness of a user of the workstation;

means for modifying an image data obtained by the camera based on the degree of tiredness; and

means for transmitting the modified image data.
