Abstract
The present invention includes a field module for remote electronic data collection that captures and stores patient care information in the field and securely forwards it to a host server for integration. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a wireless personal digital assistant (PDA) is used to capture and store client information at the point of care during a client'"'"'s visit. Client information and a visitation schedule is securely downloaded from the host server system through a wireless system. The invention also includes an online module for use by central office staff, which performs back office functions such as billing and a console module, which is used to dynamically update existing forms or create entirely new applications.
