Abstract
A database for a telecommunication service includes a first record for a first number having a predetermined NXX, and a second record for a second number having the predetermined NXX. The first record includes an indication that a call having an automatic number identification associated therewith is acceptable for the first number. The second record includes an indication that a call having at least one of an automatic number identification and a calling party identification associated therewith is acceptable for the second number. Associated methods and systems for providing a telecommunication service for the predetermined NXX are disclosed.

a receiver to receive a plurality of queries associated with a first NXX call, a second NXX call, a third NXX call, and a fourth NXX call, the first NXX call and the second NXX call to a first number, the third NXX call and the fourth NXX call to a second number, the first NXX call absent of associated automatic number identification, the second NXX call including associated automatic number identification, the third NXX call absent of both associated automatic number identification and associated calling party identification, the fourth NXX call having at least one of associated automatic number identification and associated calling party identification;
a processor to process the plurality of queries to form a plurality of responses; and
a transmitter associated with the processor to send the plurality of responses, the plurality of responses to inhibit completion of the first NXX call to the first number because a call to the first number not having an associated automatic number identification is not to be completed, to complete the second NXX call to the first number, to inhibit completion of the third NXX call to the second number because a call to the second number having neither associated automatic number identification nor associated calling party identification is not to be completed, and to complete the fourth NXX call to the second number. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
