Abstract
Users of digital cameras are ensured to photograph in a remote camera system which employs a plurality of imaging devices. One digital camera is set as a master camera, and other digital cameras are set as slave cameras. Thus, based on the photography operation of the master camera, the slave cameras photograph. By pressing a shutter button of the master camera halfway, photography notification data is sent to the slave cameras from the master camera, notifying that the photographing is about to take place. After receiving the notice, the slave cameras perform photography notification by outputting sound or voice, displaying messages, or the like. Therefore, the users of the slave cameras are able to know that photographing is about to take place.
