Abstract

An apparatus for programming recording of a TV program and/or a radio program and a control method therefor performs displaying an analog clock; and displaying programmed recording information at a corresponding time position of the displayed analog clock in a superposed manner.

Claims

1. An apparatus for programming recording of a TV program and/or a radio program in accordance with an instruction of a user, comprising:

a display unit adapted to display an analog clock; and

a control unit adapted to display programmed recording information at a corresponding time position of the displayed analog clock in a superposed manner.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a setting unit adapted to move an hour hand of the analog clock to a desired time position to set the time as recording operation time.

3. The apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said control unit changes a display color of a dial in accordance with the programmed recording operation time is in the forenoon or afternoon.

4. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said control unit changes a display color of the recording information in accordance with contents of the recording information.

5. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the recording information contains at least one of a received channel number and a genre of the program.

6. A video recording apparatus comprising an apparatus of claim 1.

7. An apparatus for programming recording of a TV program and/or a radio program in accordance with an instruction of a user, comprising:

a unit adapted to display a calendar of a predetermined number of days; and

a unit adapted to display an analog clock having programmed recording information displayed at a corresponding time position at a corresponding date position of the displayed calendar in a superposed manner.

8. A video recording apparatus comprising an apparatus of claim 7.

9. A control method for a programming apparatus for programming recording of a TV program and/or a radio program in accordance with an instruction of a user, comprising the steps of:

displaying an analog clock; and

displaying programmed recording information at a corresponding time position of the displayed analog clock in a superposed manner.

10. A program which controls a programming apparatus for programming recording of a TV program and/or a radio program in accordance with an instruction of a user, the program executing the steps of:

displaying an analog clock; and

displaying programmed recording information at a corresponding time position of the displayed analog clock in a superposed manner.
