Abstract

A configuration device for configuring a wireless device within a wireless cell can include a receiving unit configured to receive a request message from a wireless device within a wireless cell. In addition, the configuration device can include a first processing unit configured to determine location information of the wireless device, and a second processing unit configured to determine a communication capacity of the wireless device, and to estimate a communication requirement based on the request message. Furthermore, the configuration device can have a transmitting unit configured to transmit optimal information to the wireless device with respect to the request message.

Claims

1. A method of configuring a wireless device within a wireless cell, said method comprising the steps of:

receiving a request message from a wireless device within a wireless cell;

determining location information of the wireless device;

determining a communication capacity of the wireless device;

estimating a communication requirement based on the request message;

providing optimal information to the wireless device with respect to the request message.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of determining the location information comprises the step of:

determining a distance range of the wireless device.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the step of determining the location information comprises the step of:

determining a geographic position of the wireless device.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of receiving the request message comprises the step of:

receiving the request message to perform a specified task.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the step of determining the communication capacity comprises the steps of:

determining a data type capacity of the wireless device; and

determining a data rate capacity of the wireless device.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the step of estimating the communication requirement comprises the steps of:

estimating a data type requirement to perform the specified task; and

estimating a data rate requirement to perform the specified task.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the step of providing comprises the steps of:

providing the optimal information, wherein the optimal information comprises a primary optimal location and a primary optimal device to perform the specified task; and

providing the wireless device with a topography map of the wireless cell, wherein the topography map comprises an indication of the primary optimal location and an indication of the primary optimal device.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the step of providing the wireless device with the topography map comprises the step of:

providing the wireless device with the topography map of the wireless cell, wherein the topography map comprises the indication of at least one secondary optimal location and the indication of at least one secondary optimal device.

9. A configuration device for configuring a wireless device within a wireless cell, said configuration device comprises:

a receiving unit configured to receive a request message from a wireless device within a wireless cell;

a first processing unit configured to determine location information of the wireless device;

a second processing unit configured to determine a communication capacity of the wireless device, and to estimate a communication requirement based on the request message; and

a transmitting unit configured to transmit optimal information to the wireless device with respect to the request message.

10. The configuration device of claim 9, wherein the first processing unit is configured to determine a distance range of the wireless device.

11. The configuration device of claim 10, wherein the first processing unit is configured to determine a geographic position of the wireless device.

12. The configuration device of claim 9, wherein the receiving unit is configured to receive the request message to perform a specified task.

13. The configuration device of claim 12, wherein the second processing unit is configured to determine a data type capacity of the wireless device, and is configured to determine a data rate capacity of the wireless device.

14. The configuration device of claim 13, wherein the second processing unit is configured to estimate a data type requirement and a data rate requirement to perform the specified task.

15. The configuration device of claim 14, wherein the transmitting unit is configured to transmit the optimal information, said optimal information comprises a primary optimal location and a primary optimal device to perform the specified task, and is configured to provide the wireless device with a topography map of the wireless cell, wherein the topography map comprises an indication of the primary optimal location and an indication of the primary optimal device.

16. The configuration device of claim 15, wherein the transmitting unit is configured to provide the wireless device with the topography map of the wireless cell, and wherein the topography map comprises the indication of at least one secondary optimal location and at least one secondary optimal device.

17. A system of configuring a wireless device within a wireless cell, said system comprising:

a receiving means for receiving a request message from a wireless device within a wireless cell;

a first determining means for determining location information of the wireless device;

a second determining means for determining a communication capacity of the wireless device;

an estimating means for estimating a communication requirement based on the request message; and

a providing means for providing optimal information to the wireless device with respect to the request message.

18. The system of claim 17, wherein the first determining means determines a distance range of the wireless device.

19. The system of claim 18, wherein the first determining means determines a geographic position of the wireless device.

20. The system of claim 17, wherein the receiving means receives the request message to perform a specified task.

21. The system of claim 20, wherein the second determining means determines a data type capacity and a data rate capacity of the wireless device.

22. The system of claim 21, wherein the estimating means estimates a data type requirement and a data rate requirement to perform the specified task.

23. The system of claim 22, wherein the providing means provides the optimal information, said optimal information comprises a primary optimal location and a primary optimal device to perform the specified task, and

wherein the providing means provides the wireless device with a topography map of the wireless cell, said topography map comprises an indication of the primary optimal location and an indication of the primary optimal device.

24. The system of claim 23, wherein the providing means provides the wireless device with the topography map of the wireless cell, said topography map comprises the indication of at least one secondary optimal location, and the indication of at least one secondary optimal device.
