Abstract

A method of inhibiting neovascularization in a mammal comprises administering to the mammal a neovascularization-inhibiting amount of a compound of the formula disclosed.

1. A method of inhibiting neovascularization in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal a neovascularization-inhibiting amount of a compound of the formula:

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the neovascularization is ocular neovascularization and the compound is 2-methoxyestradiol.
