Abstract

An electric power trading support system includes a demand prediction unit, a demand prediction error evaluation unit, a demand predicted value upward adjustment ratio (quantity) setting unit, a private power generation/power purchase ratio (quantities) setting unit, an optimization unit for evaluating optimum values of the demand predicted value upward adjustment ratio (quantity) and the self power generation/power purchase ratio (quantities) based on costs, and a display unit for displaying the optimum values evaluated by the optimization unit, maximizing profit to an electric power retailer by minimizing the cost for power generation and power purchase when the electric power retailer sells electric power by use of a private power generator and backup electric power purchased from an electric power company.

Claims

1. An electric power trading support system comprising:

demand prediction means which predicts electric power demand;

prediction error calculation means which calculates prediction error of the predicted value of the electric power demand obtained by the demand prediction means;

demand prediction upward adjustment ratio/quantity setting means which sets an upward adjustment ratio or an upward adjustment quantity for the demand predicted value obtained by the demand prediction means;

a private power generation/power purchase ratio/quantities setting means which sets a ratio between private power generation and power purchase or quantities of the private power generation and the power purchase;

optimum value calculation means which calculates an optimum value of the upward adjustment ratio for the demand predicted value, the upward adjustment quantity for the demand predicted value, the ratio between the private power generation and the power purchase, or the quantities of the private power generation and the power purchase, based on cost; and

display means which displays the optimum value of the upward adjustment ratio for the demand predicted value, the upward adjustment quantity for the demand predicted value, the ratio between the private power generation and the power purchase, or the quantities of the private power generation and the power purchase calculated by the optimum value calculation means.

2. An electric power trading support system comprising:

demand prediction means which estimates and setting the relationship between demand or demand fluctuation and information on events, production schedules or the number of people regarding electric power customers;

event information acquisition means which acquires the information on events, production schedules or the number of people regarding the electric power customers; and

charge calculation means which calculates charges so as to give profits to the customers based on the information on events, production schedules or the number of people regarding the electric power customers acquired by the event information acquisition means.

3. An electric power trading support system comprising:

demand predicted value calculation means which calculates information regarding a predicted value of electric power demand of electric power customers;

reception means which receives an electric power sales quantity of an electric power retailer;

profit calculation means which calculates information regarding profit to the electric power retailer on electric power trading based on the information regarding the electric power demand predicted value calculated by the demand predicted value calculation means and the electric power sales quantity received by the reception means; and

profit display means which displays the information regarding the profit calculated by the profit calculation means.

4. The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, further comprising storage means which stores information on the price of electric power purchase, wherein:

the profit calculation means calculates the information regarding the profit on the electric power trading based on the information on the price of the electric power purchase stored in the storage means.

The electric power trading support system according to claim 4, wherein the information regarding the electric power demand predicted value calculated by the demand predicted value calculation means includes a value concerning probability distribution regarding the electric power demand predicted value of the electric power customers.

6. The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, wherein:

the profit calculation means calculates an expected value of the profit to the retailer on the electric power trading based on the probability distribution of the electric power demand predicted value, and

the profit display means displays the expected value of the profit on the electric power trading calculated by the profit calculation means.

7. The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, further comprising:

probability calculation means which calculates the probability that an electric power purchase quantity of the retailer will be off a prescribed range based on the electric power demand predicted value calculated by the demand predicted value calculation means, and probability display means which displays the

probability that an electric power purchase quantity of the retailer will be off the prescribed range calculated by the probability calculation means.

8. The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, further comprising customer classification information reception means which receives customer classification information on the customers, wherein:

the demand predicted value calculation means calculates the electric power demand predicted value based on the customer classification information received by the customer classification information reception means.

The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, further comprising day-of-week information reception means which receives day-of-week information indicating what day of the week a demand prediction target day as the target of the prediction of the electric power demand of the customers is, wherein:

the demand predicted value calculation means calculates the information regarding the electric power demand predicted value of the electric power customers based on the day-of-week information received by the day-of-week information reception means.

10. The electric power trading support system according to claim 3, further comprising event information reception means which receives event information regarding the electric power customers, wherein:

the demand predicted value calculation means calculates the information regarding the electric power demand predicted value of the electric power customers based on the event information received by the event information reception means.
