Abstract

A method for assembling a case (5), such an integral play station, a simple screen for a DVD reader or for a play station, a loudspeaker or other . . . , on a cushion (2) such as a headrest or a seat back cushion, fitted with a protection cover (4). This method is characterised in that it consists in fastening the case (5) directly on the protection cover (4), before mounting said cover (4) on the cushion (2).

Claims

1. A method of assembling a case (5) on a cushion (2) of a headrest or a seat back cushion, comprising fastening said case (5) on a flexible protection cover (4), and then mounting said flexible cover (4) on and surrounding said cushion (2).

2. A method according to claim 1, and fastening the case (5) on the protection cover (4) of the cushion (2) by enclosing said cover (4) between said case (5) and an added-on rigid structure (12, 12′

) positioned against an internal face of said cover (4).

3. A method according to claim 1, and:

providing an opening (10) with appropriate shape and dimensions in the protection cover (4), then

fastening the case (5) on said cover (4) by enclosing a peripheral rim (11) of said opening (10) between said case (5) and an added-on rigid structure (12, 12′

) positioned against an internal face of said cover (4).

4. A method according to claim 1, and fastening the case (5) on the cover (4) by embedding said case (5) in an added-on structure (12, 12′

) comprising a frame, then interconnecting said case (5) with said added-on structure by mechanical means (28, 29).

5. A method according to claim 1, and fastening an added-on rigid structure (12′

) on an internal face of the protection cover (4), then fastening the case (5) on said added-on structure (12′

) while enclosing the protection cover (4) between said case (5) and said added-on structure (12′

6. A method according to claim 1, and fastening the case (5) on the protection cover (4) by means of an added-on structure (12′

) comprising a frame which is placed on a contour of said case (5) and which is fitted with clamping means on said case (5).

7. A method according to claim 1, and fastening the case (5) on the protection cover (4) by forcibly embedding said case (5) in an added-on rigid structure (12, 12′

), comprising a frame.

8. A method according to claim 1, and fastening directly a peripheral rim (11) of an opening (10) made in the cover (4) on a collar (17) protruding from the case.
