Abstract

A hydrogenated nitrite rubber composition capable of providing a cross-linked product having a 20% modulus of 10 MPa or more and a thermal conductivity of 0.4 W/m·K or more at 25° C., which comprises 100 parts by weight of hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a bound acrylonitrile content of 40% or more, a polymer Mooney viscosity ML₁₊₄ (100° C.) of 75 or less (median) according to JIS K-6395 and iodine value of 23 or less (median), and not less than 110 parts by weight in sum total as a filler consisting of carbon black and other gas shielding fillers, can be effectively used as a molding material for sliding application or for a static sealing member for highly permeable gas, because of distinguished carbon dioxide gas shieldability, heat resistance, wear characteristics, etc.

Claims

1. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition capable of providing a cross-linked product having a 20% modulus of 10 MPa or more, which comprises 100 parts by weight of hydrogenated nitrile rubber having a bound acrylonitrile content of 40% or more, a Mooney viscosity ML₁₊₄ (100°

C.) of 75 or less (median) and an iodine value of 23 of less (median), and not less than 110 parts by weight in sum total as a filler consisting of carbon black and other gas shielding fillers.

2. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1, wherein the cross-linked product has a thermal conductivity of 0.4 W/m·

K or more at 25°

C.

3. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1, wherein the filler comprises 30-100 parts by weight of carbon black and 10-80 parts by weight of graphite.

4. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1, wherein the filler comprises 30-100 parts by weight of carbon black and 10-60 parts by weight of graphite and 55-60 parts by weight of carbon fibers.

5. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1, wherein the filler consisting of the carbon black and the other gas-shielding fillers have a volume fraction of 35% or more.

6. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1 used as a molding material for a sealing member

7. A cross linked molding product obtained by cross-linking a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 1.

8. A cross linked molding product according to claim 7 which comprises a sealing member.

9. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 3, wherein the filler consisting of the carbon black and the other gas-shielding fillers have a volume fraction of 35% or more.

10. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 4, wherein the filler consisting of the carbon black and the other gas-shielding fillers have a volume fraction of 35% or more.

11. A hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 2 used as a molding material for a sealing member

12. A cross linked molding product obtained by cross-linking a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition according to claim 2.

13. A cross linked molding product according to claim 12 which comprises a sealing member.
