First Claim
1. A system for configuring a servlet-based component as a dynamic content component, comprising:
- a first server system comprising a dynamic component operable to gather configuration information in response to a request to access a servlet-based component associated with a second server system;
a connection servlet invoked by the dynamic component and operable to;
establish a connection with the servlet-based component associated with the second server system based at least in part on the gathered configuration information; and
handle communication with the servlet-based component on the second server system based at least in part on the gathered configuration information.
