Remote control of a wireless device using a web browser
First Claim
1. A system for one or more persons to control one or more electromechanical devices comprising;
- (a) a first computer or other device with a web browser and an internet connection (b) a web browser based interface that captures the command requests entered by the user and transmits then to a second computer (c) a second computer with an embedded or attached wireless transmitter (d) software on the second computer for receiving the command requests sent by the first computer and a plurality of other computers (e) a process on the second computer for sending command requests to said wireless transmitter (f) a wireless receiver that is connected to an electromechanical device (g) an electromechanical device that responds to the control signals originating on the first computer A system of claim 1 wherein said web browser displays an animated representation of the device(s) being controlled whereby a person uses the web browser to input desired behaviors which are immediately displayed using the animated representation of the device(s) being controlled and then communicated to the second computer, which in turn uses the wireless transmitter to send signals to the wireless receiver, which in turn controls the behavior of the electromechanical device(s);

Abstract
A system enabling one or more persons to control one or more wireless electromechanical devices located in remote locations. The system includes a first personal computer (10) equipped with an internet connection. The first personal computer uses a web browser with a graphical control panel that enables the user to input control requests, and that includes an animated representation of the electromechanical device(s) such that the user can instantly see the anticipated behavior of the electromechanical device. Control signals are sent via the internet to a server (30) which in turn forwards the signals to one or more second computers (50). The second computer(s) transforms the information and sends behavioral signals to a transmitter (100) via a USB link (60). The wireless transmitter sends the signals to a wireless receiver (200) which is connected to an electromechanical device (300). In this manner, a plurality of electromechanical devices can be controlled by one or more persons located in multiple remote locations.
