Abstract

A substrate includes at least one visual representation of an audio file and encoded data associated with the at least one audio file. The encoded data can be sensed by a selection device to cause an audio file stored in a computer system to be provided to the selection device from said computer system.

Claims

1. A substrate including at least one visual representation of an audio file and encoded data associated with the at least one audio file, wherein the encoded data can be sensed by a selection device to cause an audio file stored in a computer system to be provided to said selection device from said computer system.

2. A substrate according to claim 1 wherein the encoded data is substantially invisible.

3. A substrate according to claim 1 or 2 wherein the encoded data associated with a file is in the same position on the substrate as the visual representation of the file such that a user can cause the selection device to sense the encoded data by placing the selection device over the visual representation of the file.

4. A substrate according to any preceding claim wherein the encoded data is printed using an infra-red ink.

5. A substrate according to claim 1 wherein the substrate is paper-like.
