A lamp having a lamp cover and a light source, said lamp comprising a decorative article attached to the lamp, said decorative article comprising, at least, an appearance-providing layer defining an appearance of the decorative article, and a light-storage layer which is disposed under the appearance-providing layer and is able to store the light from said light source and generate afterglow, wherein said decorative article is attached to a non-light-emitting area of said lamp cover, which does not substantially concern the emission of the light from said light source.

wherein a non-light-emitting area of the lamp cover, which does not substantially concern the emission of the light from said light source, is provided with a decorative article comprising, at least, an appearance-providing layer defining an appearance of the decorative article, and a light-storage layer which is disposed under the appearance-providing layer and is able to store the light from said light source and generate afterglow.
