Abstract
Techniques for displaying information on a set of displays include identifying a change in data displayed by a client and notifying the client of a change to the displayed data. In response to the notification, a request for a page containing the changed data is received, and a page containing the changed data is generated. The page may be stored for retrieval by other clients that subsequently request the same page. The page containing the changed data is then sent to the client for display. The client continues to retrieve and display the same page from a local cache until being notified of another change to the data displayed on the page.
