introducing a mobile phase comprising a solvent and at least two components to be separated into a separation column comprising a transmissive fiber rod, wherein the fiber rod comprises a plurality of entangled fibers defining a tortuous fluid path;
forcing the mobile phase through the fiber rod, wherein the components to be separated exhibit different levels of interaction with the fiber rod and mobile phase, resulting in separation of the components. - View Dependent Claims (72)
