Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and systems for automated criteria and attribute generation, searching, auditing and reporting of data. One aspect of an embodiment of the invention includes a method for translating a request for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources. The method includes receiving a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, wherein the at least one attribute and the at least one modeling criteria are each associated with a portion of data in a plurality of credit data sources, automatically generating executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based at least in part on the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, and storing at least a portion of the executable computer code for use with another request based in part on the at least one attribute and based in part on the at least one modeling criteria.

Claims

1. A method for translating a request for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

receiving a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, wherein the at least one attribute and the at least one modeling criteria are each associated with a portion of data in a plurality of credit data sources;

automatically generating executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based at least in part on the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria; and

storing at least a portion of the executable computer code for use with another request based in part on the at least one attribute and based in part on the at least one modeling criteria.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein automatically generating executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria comprises:

normalizing data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources for processing by an executable computer code;

generating executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one attribute;

generating executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one modeling criteria;

generating executable computer code adapted to score results from the filtering data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one attribute, and from filtering data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one modeling criteria; and

generating executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on any user-defined criteria.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

filtering the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources with the executable computer code and at least one runtime component to obtain result data in response to the request.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein automatically generating executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria comprises the following:

generating test executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the test executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based at least in part on the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria;

selecting a set of test data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources;

filtering the set of test data with the test executable computer code to obtain a set of test result data; and

determining whether the test result data is valid.

The method of claim 4, wherein determining whether the test result data is valid comprises determining a test model score for the test result data, wherein the test model score is based at least in part on a correlation of the least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria with the test result data.

6. The method of claim 4, further comprising:

if the test result data is not valid, determining a modification to the request; and

modifying the test executable computer code based at least on the modification to the request.

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:

modifying the executable computer code based at least on the modification to the request;

filtering the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources with the modified executable computer code to obtain result data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to the modification to the request.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the executable computer code is adapted to be processed with data processing platform via at least one runtime component to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein receiving a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected by a user.

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, comprises comparing the request to a previously stored request, and if the request is similar to the previously stored request, retrieving a result set associated with the previously stored request.

11. A method for testing result data obtained in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

receiving result data in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, wherein the request is based on at least one attribute and on at least one criteria associated with a portion of data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources;

determining a model score associated with the result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of the at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the result data;

determining whether the result data is valid;

if the result data is not valid, receiving a change to the request; and

filtering the portion of data from the plurality of credit data sources based in part on at least the change to the request to obtain modified result data in response to the change to the request.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein determining whether the result data is valid comprises displaying the result data for a user, displaying the model score associated with the result data for the user, and receiving an indication from the user of whether the result data is valid.

13. The method of claim 11, wherein the change to the request comprises at least one of the following:

a modification to at least one attribute, a modification to at least one modeling criteria, and selection of a rule.

14. A method for developing executable computer code adapted to obtain a portion of data from a plurality of credit data sources in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, wherein the request is based in part on at least one attribute and based in part on at least one modeling criteria, comprising:

filtering test data with an executable computer code to obtain test result data;

storing at least a portion of the executable computer code for use with another request based in part on the at least one attribute and in part on the at least one modeling criteria;

applying at least one analytical algorithm to determine a model score associated with the test result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the test result data; and

providing the test result data and model score to a user.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising:

receiving a modification to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources;

modifying the executable computer code;

filtering test data with the modified executable computer code to obtain modified test result data;

applying at least one analytical algorithm to determine a modified model score associated with the modified test result data, wherein the modified model score is based at least in part on correlation of at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the modified test result data; and

providing the modified test result data and modified model score to a user.

The method of claim 14, wherein providing the test result data and model score to a user comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for modification by the user, and wherein at least one library of analytics for processing the plurality of attributes and the plurality of modeling criteria can also be selected by the user.

17. A method for auditing result data obtained from a plurality of credit data sources in response to a request based in part on at least one attribute and based in part on at least one modeling criteria, comprising:

filtering a portion of data from at least one of a plurality of credit data sources with an executable computer code to obtain test result data;

storing at least a portion of test result data;

selecting at least some of the test result data for validation of the test result data;

providing an indication of whether the test result data is based at least on the at least one attribute; and

providing an indication of whether the test result data is based at least on the at least one modeling criteria.

18. The method of claim 17, further comprising:

receiving a modification to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources;

modifying a process flow associated with the executable computer code;

filtering the portion of data from the at least one of a plurality of credit data sources with the modified process flow associated with the executable computer code to obtain modified test result data;

storing at least a portion of modified test result data;

selecting at least some of the modified test result data for validation of the test result data;

providing an indication of whether the modified test result data is based at least on the at least one attribute; and

providing an indication of whether the modified test result data is based at least on the at least one modeling criteria.

19. The method of claim 17, further comprising:

displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for modification by a user.

20. A method for managing a plurality of requests for searching data in a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

receiving a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources, wherein each request comprises at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the at least one attribute and the at least one modeling criteria are each associated with a portion of data in a plurality of credit data sources;

generating a respective executable computer code associated with each request, wherein each respective executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based on at least the one attribute and one modeling criteria of the respective request;

storing each request and associated executable computer code for processing by at least one runtime component; and

obtaining respective result data from the at least one runtime component from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to each request.

The method of claim 20, wherein obtaining respective result data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to each request comprises generating a model score associated with the respective result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of the at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the respective result data, and validating the respective result data based at least in part on the respective model scores.

22. The method of claim 21, further comprising:

if a particular result data is not valid, modifying the respective executable computer code, wherein the modified executable computer code is based at least in part on a modification to the respective request; and

obtaining modified result data from the at least one runtime component.

23. The claim of method 20, wherein modification to the respective request comprises at least one of the following:

a modification to the at least one attribute, a modification to the at least one modeling criteria, and selection of a rule.

The method of claim 20, wherein receiving a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources via at least one runtime component comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for each request by a respective user.

25. The method of claim 20, receiving a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources comprises comparing a request to a previously stored request, and if the request is similar to the previously stored request, retrieving a result set associated with the previously stored request.

26. The method of claim 20, further comprising:

processing each respective executable computer code with a data processing platform using at least one runtime component to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources.

27. A system for translating a request for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

an automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted to;

receive a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, wherein the at least one attribute and the at least one modeling criteria are each associated with a portion of data in a plurality of credit data sources;

automatically generate executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based at least in part on the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria; and

store at least a portion of the executable computer code for use with another request based in part on the at least one attribute and based in part on the at least one modeling criteria.

28. The system of claim 27, wherein the element automatically generate executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria comprises:

normalize data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources for processing by an executable computer code;

generate executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one attribute;

generate executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one modeling criteria;

generate executable computer code adapted to score results from the filtering data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one attribute, and from filtering data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on the at least one modeling criteria; and

generate executable computer code adapted to filter data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources based at least on any user-defined criteria.

29. The system of claim 27, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted is further adapted to:

filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources with the executable computer code and at least one runtime component to obtain result data in response to the request.

30. The system of claim 27, wherein the element automatically generate executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria comprises the following:

generate test executable computer code associated with the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the test executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based at least in part on the at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria;

select a set of test data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources;

filter the set of test data with the test executable computer code to obtain a set of test result data; and

determine whether the test result data is valid.

The system of claim 30, wherein the element determine whether the test result data is valid comprises determine a test model score for the test result data, wherein the test model score is based at least in part on a correlation of the least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria with the test result data.

32. The system of claim 30, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted is further adapted to:

if the test result data is not valid, determine a modification to the request; and

modify the test executable computer code based at least on the modification to the request.

33. The system of claim 32, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted is further adapted to:

modify the executable computer code based at least on the modification to the request;

filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources with the modified executable computer code to obtain result data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to the modification to the request.

34. The system of claim 27, wherein the executable computer code is adapted to be processed with data processing platform via at least one runtime component to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources.

35. The system of claim 27, wherein the element receive a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected by a user.

36. The system of claim 27, wherein the element receive a request based on at least one attribute and on at least one modeling criteria, comprises comparing the request to a previously stored request, and if the request is similar to the previously stored request, retrieving a result set associated with the previously stored request.

37. A system for testing result data obtained in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

an automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted to;

receive result data in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, wherein the request is based on at least one attribute and on at least one criteria associated with a portion of data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources;

determine a model score associated with the result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of the at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the result data;

determine whether the result data is valid;

if the result data is not valid, receive a change to the request; and

filter the portion of data from the plurality of credit data sources based in part on at least the change to the request to obtain modified result data in response to the change to the request.

38. The system of claim 37, wherein the element determine whether the result data is valid comprises displaying the result data for a user, displaying the model score associated with the result data for the user, and receiving an indication from the user of whether the result data is valid.

39. The system of claim 37, wherein the change to the request comprises at least one of the following:

a modification to at least one attribute, a modification to at least one modeling criteria, and selection of a rule.

40. A system for developing executable computer code adapted to obtain a portion of data from a plurality of credit data sources in response to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources, wherein the request is based in part on at least one attribute and based in part on at least one modeling criteria, comprising:

an automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted to;

filter test data with an executable computer code to obtain test result data;

apply at least one analytical algorithm to determine a model score associated with the test result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the test result data; and

provide the test result data and model score to a user.

41. The system of claim 40, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine is further adapted to:

receive a modification to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources;

modify the executable computer code;

filter test data with the modified executable computer code to obtain modified test result data;

determine a modified model score associated with the modified test result data, wherein the modified model score is based at least in part on correlation of at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the modified test result data; and

provide the modified test result data and modified model score to a user.

The system of claim 40, wherein the element provide the test result data and model score to a user comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for modification by the user, and wherein at least one library of analytics for processing the plurality of attributes and the plurality of modeling criteria can also be selected by the user.

43. A system for auditing result data obtained from a plurality of credit data sources in response to a request based in part on at least one attribute and based in part on at least one modeling criteria, comprising:

an automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted to;

filter a portion of data from at least one of a plurality of credit data sources with an executable computer code to obtain test result data;

store at least a portion of test result data;

select at least some of the test result data for validation of the test result data;

store at least a portion of the executable computer code for use with another request based in part on the at least one attribute and in part on the at least one modeling criteria;

provide an indication of whether the test result data is based at least on the at least one attribute; and

provide an indication of whether the test result data is based at least on the at least one modeling criteria.

44. The method of claim 43, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine is further adapted to:

receive a modification to a request for data from a plurality of credit data sources;

modify a process flow associated with the executable computer code;

filter the portion of data from the at least one of a plurality of credit data sources with the modified executable computer code to obtain modified test result data;

store at least a portion of modified test result data;

select at least some of the modified test result data for validation of the test result data;

provide an indication of whether the modified test result data is based at least on the at least one attribute; and

provide an indication of whether the modified test result data is based at least on the at least one modeling criteria.

45. The system of claim 43, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine is further adapted to:

display a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for modification by a user.

46. A system for managing a plurality of requests for searching data in a plurality of credit data sources, comprising:

an automated criteria and attribute application engine adapted to;

receive a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources, wherein each request comprises at least one attribute and at least one modeling criteria, wherein the at least one attribute and the at least one modeling criteria are each associated with a portion of data in a plurality of credit data sources;

generate a respective executable computer code associated with each request, wherein each respective executable computer code is adapted to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources based on at least the one attribute and one modeling criteria of the respective request;

store each request and associated executable computer code for processing by at least one runtime component; and

obtaining respective result data from the at least one runtime component from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to each request.

The system of claim 46, wherein the element obtain respective result data from at least one of the plurality of credit data sources in response to each request comprises generating a model score associated with the respective result data, wherein the model score is based at least in part on correlation of the at least one attribute and at least one criteria with the respective result data, and validating the respective result data based at least in part on the respective model scores.

48. The system of claim 46, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine is further adapted to:

if a particular result data is not valid, modify the respective executable computer code, wherein the modified executable computer code is based at least in part on a modification to the respective request; and

obtain modified result data from the at least one runtime component.

49. The system of claim 48, wherein modification to the respective request comprises at least one of the following:

a modification to the at least one attribute, a modification to the at least one modeling criteria, and selection of a rule.

The system of claim 47, wherein the element receive a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources via at least one runtime component comprises displaying a user interface, wherein a plurality of attributes and a plurality of modeling criteria can be selected for each request by a respective user.

51. The system of claim 47, wherein the element receive a plurality of requests for filtering data in a plurality of credit data sources comprises comparing a request to a previously stored request, and if the request is similar to the previously stored request, retrieving a result set associated with the previously stored request.

52. The system of claim 47, wherein the automated criteria and attribute application engine is further adapted to:

process each respective executable computer code with a data processing platform using at least one runtime component to filter the portion of data in the plurality of credit data sources.
