Abstract

A reverse gear arrangement in a countershaft transmission (1, 40, 44) having at least one starting element (2, 41), at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42), one countershaft (22), fixed or idler gear wheels fastened or rotatably supported on the shafts, shifting sets (20, 21, 37, 38) coordinated with the idler gears and a reverse gear shaft (30, 31) upon which a driveable gear wheel (29, 32) and a driveable gear wheel (28, 33) are fastened. It is proposed for further development of the transmission that the driveable gear wheel (29, 32) of the reverse gear (RG) be meshed with a fixed gear (12, 14) of another transmission gear which is fastened on at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42).

26. a countershaft transmission (1, 40, 44) comprising at least one starting element (2, 41), at least one input shaft (4, 5, 42), one countershaft (22), fixed gear wheels and idler gear wheels are one of fastened or rotatably supported on said at least one shaft, shifting sets (20, 21, 37, 38) coordinated with said idler gears and one reverse gear shaft (30, 31) upon which are fastened one driveable gear wheel (29, 32) and one driving gear wheel (28, 33), said driveable gear wheel (29, 32) of a reverse gear (RG) is meshed with one fixed gear (12, 14) of another transmission gear which is fastened upon the at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42).

27. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the other transmission gear is one of a first gear (G1) or a second gear (G2).

28. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the fixed gear (12, 14) of the other transmission gear (G1, G2) and the driving gear wheel (28, 32) of the reverse gear (RG) are disposed axially side by side.

29. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the reverse gear shaft (30, 31) is not situated in a plane fixed by the at least one input shaft (4, 5, 42) and the countershaft (22).

30. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the driveable gear wheel (29, 32) and the driving gear wheel (28, 33) to be driven have on the reverse gear shaft (30, 31) different number of teeth.

31. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the countershaft (22) is one of connected with one shaft leading to at least one differential transmission, or drives one such shaft via an input toothing.

32. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein the at least one starting element is designed as one of a dual clutch (2), a single clutch (41) or a hydrodynamic torque converter.

The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein departing from a central bearing plane (D), gear numbers respectively on the at least one transmission input shaft (4, 5, 42) and the countershaft (22) increase in a direction toward the at least one starting element (2, 41) or in an opposite direction.

The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein departing from a central bearing plane (D), the gear wheels of the reverse gear (RG) and one of even numbered gears (G2, G4, G6), the same as in opposite direction gear wheels of odd numbered gears (G1, G3, G5, G7), are disposed in a direction to the at least one starting element (2, 41).

35. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein gear sequence, starting from the at least one starting element (2, 41), runs as follows:

sixth gear (G6), fourth gear (G4), second gear (G2), the reverse gear (RG), first gear (G1), third gear (G3), fifth gear (G5) and seventh gear (G7).

36. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein a first input shaft (4) is designed as hollow shaft (4) in which a second input shaft (5) is supported.

The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein behind a free end of a hollow shaft (4) upon a second transmission input shaft (5) in direction to a free end thereof, the fixed gears (14, 15) of low gears (G1, G3) are first fastened and subsequently idler gears (16, 17) of high gears (G5, G7) are mounted.

The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein upon a hollow shaft (4), departing from a central bearing plane (D) in direction toward the starting element (2), a fixed gear (12) of a lower gear (G2) is fastened and subsequently idler gears (11, 10) of higher gears (G4, G6) are supported.

The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein upon the transmission input shaft (42), departing from a central bearing plane (D) in a direction toward the starting element (41), first one fixed gear (12) and subsequently two idler gears (10, 11), the same as in opposite direction first two fixed gears (14, 15) and subsequently two other idler gears (16, 17) are consecutively disposed.

40. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein an idler gear (17) for a highest transmission gear (G7) is situated respectively on a free end of a second transmission input shaft (5) and a free end of a single transmission input shaft (42).

41. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein with idler gears (10, 11) for a sixth gear (G6) and a fourth gear (G4), one common shifting set (20) is coordinated.

42. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein with a common shifting set (21) is coordinated with idle idler gears (16, 17) for a fifth gear (G5) and a seventh gear (G7).

43. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein one common shifting set (37) is coordinated with idler gears (29, 39) for a second gear (G2) and the reverse gear (RG) upon the countershaft (22).

44. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein with the idler gears (33, 34) for a first gear (G1) and a third gear (G3), one common shifting set (38) is coordinated on the countershaft (22).

45. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein one common shifting set is coordinated respectively with idler gears of a first gear (G1) and of a third gear (G3), of a second gear (G2) and of the reverse gear (RG) and of a fourth gear (G4) and of a sixth gear (G6) while an individual single acting shifting set is coordinated with idler gears of a fifth gear (G5) and of a seventh gear (G7), respectively.

46. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein one common shifting set is coordinated respectively with idler gears of a first gear (G1) and of the reverse gear (RG), of a third gear (G3) and of a fifth gear (G5), the same as of a second gear (G2) and of a fourth gear (G4), while one individual single acting shifting set is coordinated with a idler gears of a sixth gear (G6) and of a seventh gear (G7).

47. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein one common shifting set is respectively coordinated with idler gears of a first gear (G1) and of the reverse gear (RG), of a third gear (G3) and of a fifth gear (G5), the same as of a fourth gear (G4) and of a sixth gear (G6) while one individual single acting shifting set is coordinated respectively with idler gears of a second gear (G2) and of a seventh gear

48. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein a reverse idler gear (39) is meshed with a driving gear wheel (29, 33) upon the reverse gear shaft (30, 31).

49. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein one differential transmission is located in one or more of an area of the starting element (2, 41) and an area of a vehicle rear axle.

50. The countershaft transmission according to claim 26, wherein said transmission can be designed as one of an automatic dual-clutch transmission (1, 40), an automated actuatable shifting transmission (44), or an manually actuatable shifting transmission.
