Abstract

To provide a goggle type display device system that can prevent harm to user'"'"'s health. If anomaly is recognized in mind and body of a user, first video signals provided from an external device stop being displayed on LCD panels and, instead, outside scenery taken by CCD image capture elements is displayed. The user may be alarmed by this about anomaly of his or her body and, further, relaxed by looking at the outside scenery presented.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

a display device;

a video signal control circuit operationally connected to said display device;

a first video signal supplying device to supply a first video signal to said video signal control circuit;

a second video signal supplying device to supply a second video signal to said video signal control circuit; and

a sensor for obtaining a vital information of a user,

wherein said video signal control circuit selectively provides said display device with one of the first video signal and the second video signal in accordance with said vital information.

2. The system according to claim 1 wherein said display system is a goggle type display system.

3. The system according to claim 1 wherein said sensor is an image sensor.

4. The system according to claim 1 wherein said vital information is at least one selected from the group consisting of pulse wave, blood pressure, body temperature and dilated degree of the pupils of the eyes.

5. The system according to claim 1 wherein said display device comprises a liquid crystal device and a back light including light emitting diodes.

6. A system comprising:

a display device;

a video signal control circuit operationally connected to said display device;

a first video signal supplying device to supply a first video signal to said video signal control circuit;

an image capture element for converting an outside image into a second video signal;

a sensor for obtaining a vital information of a user,

wherein said video signal control circuit selectively provides said display device with one of the first video signal and the second video signal in accordance with said vital information.

7. The system according to claim 6 wherein said display system is a goggle type display system.

8. The system according to claim 6 wherein said sensor is an image sensor.

9. The system according to claim 6 wherein said vital information is at least one selected from the group consisting of pulse wave, blood pressure, body temperature and dilated degree of the pupils of the eyes.

10. The system according to claim 6 wherein said display device comprises a liquid crystal device and a back light including light emitting diodes.

11. A system comprising:

a display device;

a video signal control circuit operationally connected to said display device;

a first video signal supplying device to supply a first video signal to said video signal control circuit;

a second video signal supplying device to supply a second video signal to said video signal control circuit; and

a sensor for obtaining a vital information of a user,

wherein said video signal control circuit calculates a degree of fatigue of the user on the basis of a chaos attractor index obtained by numerically processing the vital information signal and selectively provides said display device with one of the first video signal and the second video signal in accordance with said degree of fatigue.

12. The system according to claim 11 wherein said display system is a goggle type display system.

13. The system according to claim 11 wherein said sensor is an image sensor.

14. The system according to claim 11 wherein said vital information is at least one selected from the group consisting of pulse wave, blood pressure, body temperature and dilated degree of the pupils of the eyes.

15. The system according to claim 11 wherein said display device comprises a liquid crystal device and a back light including light emitting diodes.

16. A system comprising:

a display device;

a video signal control circuit operationally connected to said display device;

a first video signal supplying device to supply a first video signal to said video signal control circuit;

an image capture element for converting an outside image into a second video signal;

a sensor for obtaining a vital information of a user,

wherein said video signal control circuit calculates a degree of fatigue of the user on the basis of a chaos attractor index obtained by numerically processing the vital information signal and selectively provides said display device with one of the first video signal and the second video signal in accordance with said degree of fatigue.

17. The system according to claim 16 wherein said display system is a goggle type display system.

18. The system according to claim 16 wherein said sensor is an image sensor.

19. The system according to claim 16 wherein said vital information is at least one selected from the group consisting of pulse wave, blood pressure, body temperature and dilated degree of the pupils of the eyes.

20. The system according to claim 16 wherein said display device comprises a liquid crystal device and a back light including light emitting diodes.
