Abstract

A replay mode control device in which the replay mode in reproducing music or video contents is controlled so as to be suitable for a user. A headphone of a mobile music reproducing device is provided with a vibration sensor for detecting movements of the user in the up-and-down direction. A walking movement detection unit detects the walking interval of the user based on an output of the vibration sensor. A replay mode controller manages control to adjust the replay rate of music contents to the walking interval of the user.

Claims

1. A replay mode control device comprising

bio-information detection means for detecting bio-information of a user;

movement analysis means for analyzing movements of the user based on said bio-information; and

replay mode controlling means for controlling a replay mode of recorded contents responsive to movements of said user analyzed by said movement analysis means.

2. The replay mode control device according to claim 1 wherein

said replay mode controlling means controls at least one of selection of contents, replay rate, sound volume, beat sound, sound tone and title indication.

3. The replay mode control device according to claim 1 wherein

said bio-information detection means is mounted on the user'"'"'s body.

4. The replay mode control device according to claim 1 wherein

said movement analysis means detects a stepping tempo of the user during walking and wherein

said replay mode controlling means synchronizes a reproducing rate of the contents during the replay mode to said detected stepping mode.

5. The replay mode control device according to claim 1 wherein

said bio-information includes acceleration or velocity of movement in an up-and-down direction of the user;

and wherein

said movement analysis means detects a stepping tempo of the user during walking based on the movement in the up-and-down direction of the user.

6. The replay mode control device according to claim 1 wherein

said bio-information detection means comprises a pressure sensor provided in a bottom of a shoe of the user;

said movement analysis means detecting a touching down of the bottom of the shoe of the user and/or a separation of the bottom of the shoe of the user from a surface.

7. A method for controlling a replay mode of recorded contents, the method comprising

a bio-information detection step of detecting bio-information of a user;

a movement analysis step of analyzing movements of a user based on bio-information;

a replay mode determining step of determining a change of a contents replay mode based on said bio-information analyzed in said movement analysis step; and

a reproducing step of reproducing contents with a replay mode determined by said replay mode determining step.

8. The method for controlling the replay mode according to claim 7 wherein

said replay mode determining step controls at least one of selection of contents, replay rate, sound volume, beat sound, sound tone and title indication.

9. The method for controlling the replay mode according to claim 7 wherein

said movement analysis step detects a stepping tempo of the user during walking based on said bio-information;

and wherein

said replay mode determining step synchronizes the stepping tempo of the user with a rate of the reproducing of the recorded contents.

10. The method for controlling the replay mode according to claim 7 wherein

said bio-information is an acceleration or velocity in the an up-and-down direction of the user during walking;

and wherein

said movement analysis step detects a stepping tempo based on the acceleration or the velocity of the user during walking.

11. The method for controlling the replay mode according to claim 7 wherein

said bio-information detection step detects a touching down of a bottom of a shoe of the user on a surface and/or a separation of the bottom of the shoe of the user from the surface;

and wherein

said movement analysis step detects a stepping tempo of the user.
