A testing system and method for screening and evaluation of cognitive function is provided. The system and method may be used in a waiting area prior to examination by a clinician, thus providing information to the clinician as well as maximizing time spent waiting. The system includes a device for input and output of information, from which a report can be generated. The report is provided in electronic or paper format to the clinician, and further evaluation is at least partially based on the report.
