Abstract

A system and method combine mobile computing device (0100), wireless communication interface (0105), and an application program (0108) to provide the mobile computing device user to schedule and execute jobs based on the proximity to other wireless communication interface (0105). The scheduler schedules jobs and chooses a proximity relation of presences of one or more identifier of MAC sublayer or data link layer of wireless communication interfaces as trigger condition. When the trigger condition of a job is true, scheduler executes the job.

Claims

1. A method for a mobile computing device to interact with a user, the method comprising:

Receiving a job description, wherein job description includes one or more actions,

Receiving a trigger condition of said job, wherein said trigger condition is the relation of the presences of one or more identifiers of a Media Access Control sublayer protocol or a data link layer protocol and said one or more identifiers are trigger identifiers,

Initial the presences of said one or more trigger identifiers,

Receiving message from wireless media,

Decoding said message and detecting one or more identifiers in according with said Media Access Control sublayer protocol or said data link layer protocol,

Update said presences of one or more trigger identifiers according to the presences of said detected one or more identifiers,

Evaluate said trigger condition based on said presences of said one or more trigger identifiers,

Executing said job if the presences of said one or more trigger identifier is equal to said trigger condition.

2. A mobile computing device for receiving job request to be executed under the presence condition of one or more interested identifiers in MAC sublayer or data link layer of a communication protocol, the system comprising:

A wireless communication interface for receiving message,

A identifier detector for decoding said receiving message and detect the presences of identifier in MAC sublayer frame or data link layer frame of said wireless communication protocol, and update the presences of said one or more interested identifiers,

A matcher for comparing current presence condition of one or more interested identifier with the requested presence condition of one or more interested identifier,

A notifier for trigger an execution on said job when said matcher find a match.
