Abstract

A method, device and computer program for mobile object information management program includes obtaining a first image by photographing identification information of a mobile object, executing character recognition process on the first image to obtain a first character recognition result, determining accuracy of the first character recognition result, registering, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, a plurality of first character recognition results, for each of which the accuracy is determined as low, and outputting the first character recognition results registered.

Claims

1. A computer program that makes a computer execute:

obtaining a first image by photographing identification information of a mobile object;

executing character recognition process on the first image to obtain a first character recognition result;

determining accuracy of the first character recognition result;

registering, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, a plurality of first character recognition results, for each of which the accuracy is determined as low; and

outputting the first character recognition results registered.

2. The computer program according to claim 1, wherein the registering includes registering, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, one first character recognition result for which the accuracy is determined as high.

3. The program computer according to claim 2, wherein the outputting is followed by further making the computer execute:

obtaining a second image by photographing identification information of another mobile object;

executing character recognition process on the second image to obtain a second character recognition result;

determining accuracy of the second character recognition result;

a recognition result match determining that includes determining, if the accuracy of the second character recognition result is determined as high, whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result, to thereby obtain a matching result; and

a recognition result updating that includes updating, if the matching result indicates that a match is found, the first character recognition results registered based on the second character recognition result.

a recognition result updating that includes replacing, if the matching result indicates that a match is found, the first character recognition results registered with the second character recognition result.

4. The computer program according to claim 3, further making the computer execute:

predicting a destination range of the mobile object within predetermined time, when the first character recognition result is registered.

5. The program computer according to claim 4, wherein

the recognition result match determining further includes determining whether a position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, and if the position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, the recognition result match determining includes determining whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result for which character recognition accuracy is determined as high.

6. A mobile object information management device comprising:

a photographing unit that obtains a first image by photographing identification information of a mobile object;

a character recognizing unit that executes character recognition process on the first image to obtain a first character recognition result;

a first accuracy determining unit that determines accuracy of the first character recognition result;

a recognition result registering unit that registers, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, a plurality of first character recognition results, for each of which the accuracy is determined as low; and

a character recognition result output unit that outputs the first character recognition results registered.

7. The device according to claim 6, wherein the recognition result registering unit registers, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, one first character recognition result for which the accuracy is determined as high.

8. The device according to claim 7, further comprising:

a second accuracy determining unit that determines, after the recognition result output unit outputs the first character recognition results, accuracy of a second character recognition result, wherein

another photographing unit obtains a second image by photographing identification information of another mobile object, and

another character recognizing unit executes character recognition process on the second image to obtain the second character recognition result;

a recognition result match determination unit that determines, if the accuracy of the second character recognition result is determined as high, whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result, to thereby obtain a matching result; and

a recognition result updating unit that updates, if the matching result indicates that a match is found, the first character recognition results registered based on the second character recognition result.

9. The device according to claim 8, further comprising:

a destination range predicting unit that predicts a destination range of the mobile object within predetermined time, when the first character recognition result is registered.

10. The device according to claim 9, wherein

the recognition result match determination unit determines whether a position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, and if the position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, the recognition result match determining unit determines whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result for which the accuracy is determined as high.

11. A mobile object information management method comprising:

obtaining a first image by photographing identification information of a mobile object;

executing character recognition process on the first image to obtain a first character recognition result;

determining accuracy of the first character recognition result;

registering, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, a plurality of first character recognition results, for each of which the accuracy is determined as low; and

outputting the first character recognition results registered.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the registering includes registering, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, one first character recognition result for which the accuracy is determined as high.

13. The method according to claim 12, after the outputting, further comprising:

obtaining a second image by photographing identification information of another mobile object;

executing character recognition process on the second image to obtain a second character recognition result;

determining accuracy of the second character recognition result;

a recognition result match determining that includes determining, if the accuracy of the second character recognition result is determined as high, whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result, to thereby obtain a matching result; and

a recognition result updating that includes updating, if the matching result indicates that a match is found, the first character recognition results registered based on the second character recognition result.

14. The method according to claim 13, further comprising:

predicting a destination range of the mobile object within predetermined time, when the first character recognition result is registered.

15. The method according to claim 14, wherein

the recognition result match determining further includes determining whether a position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, and if the position of the another mobile object is within the destination range predicted, the recognition result match determining includes determining whether any of the first character recognition results registered matches the second character recognition result for which character recognition accuracy is determined as high.

16. A mobile object information management system comprising:

a photographing unit that obtains a first image by photographing identification information of a mobile object;

a character recognizing unit that executes character recognition process on the first image to obtain a first character recognition result;

a first accuracy determining unit that determines accuracy of the first character recognition result;

a recognition result registering unit that registers, as the identification information corresponding to the mobile object, a plurality of first character recognition results, for each of which the accuracy is determined as low; and

a character recognition result output unit that outputs the first character recognition results registered.
