Abstract

A control method for an information processing apparatus which can be loaded with a device driver includes an installing step of installing a device driver, a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in the installing step, and a display controlling step of controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in the determining step.

Claims

1. A control method of an information processing apparatus that can be loaded with a device driver, comprising:

an installing step of installing a device driver;

a determining step of determining whether or not a control program in the information processing apparatus is to be rebooted when the device driver is installed in said installing step; and

a display controlling step of controlling display of a display screen for reboot when it is determined that reboot is required in said determining step.
