Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system in communication devices for dedicated partner search and selection. More in particular the invention also relates to business partner search and the use of suitable portable wireless communication devices for such purposes. The devices, suitable for normal cellular services, with additional hardware for short range radio communication in a second mode and partially exchangeable software for user controlled, data entry of a personal search and/or resident profile. The profiles in all, stored in the memory of each device equipped with said hardware and software, are defined as a distributed database being wirelessly accessible by means of said software. Further the software enables the communication device automatically switching to and fro between the mode for cellular services and the local area mode for real time, data-transceiving and -processing and a messaging function, for direct personal contact.

Claims

1. A hard- and software driven communication device equipped with at least one communication mode, included with a special fully automatic, partially exchangeable application, existing of hard- and/or software for real time search and selection, under management of the special application, using an algorithm for user controlled entry of specific data and to build from the specific data, a customized encoded data string, the data concerned is stored in the device as a distributed database being accessible under control of the special application, enabling a variety of multipoint to multipoint communication of the different specific encoded data strings between all enabled communication devices having the same special application, having an algorithm for navigation, filtering, matching of the different data strings and a messaging function, for direct personal contact.

2. The device in claim 1, wherein also included direct, real time, personal contact in a local area,

3. The device of claim 1, wherein the messaging function includes image and/or sound and/or data,

4. The device of claim 1, included with the menu structure and content or a variety of menu structures and content with the same operation,

5. The device of claim 1, further provided with the, event specific, automatically adapted, data entry structure and/or content including a resident data profile type and/or a search profile data type.

6. The device of claim 1, further included with known and/or newly developed data entry methods like image and/or speech,

7. The device of claim 1, further provided with the, event specific, automatically adapted, data entry structure and/or content.

8. The device of claim 1, wherein the data entry structure and content is stored in an appropriate type of memory for variable purposes.

9. The device of claim 1, wherein the user controlled entry of the special data, building the personal search and/or resident profiles, is stored in the memory of every user'"'"'s device creating the distributed database with authorized access by the special software also to guarantee privacy.

10. The device of claim 1, wherein a customized encoded data string, consisting of at least one kind of data, including the identifiers of the data package, personal data like (issue) name and telephone number, search profile data, build from the entry of the special data.

The device of claim 1, enabled by the special software, fully automatic switching between de different communication modes also switching from the communication mode for normal cellular services to a second communication mode, integrated or separated, also including functions and technology for short range, local area, radio communication, enabling a variety of real time point to multipoint transceiving of the specific customized encoded data strings also in a local area.

12. The device of claim 1, wherein the device is enabled, also in a local area, simultaneously to transmit the customized encoded data string and to receive external customized encoded data strings with the same format from similar devices also equipped with the application.

13. The device of claim 1, having an algorithm for filtering of the received data strings and matching of the resident data string and received customized encoded search data strings.

14. The device of claim 1, wherein upon matching, the application provides the message, such as image, sound, or data, for direct, real time, personal contact also in a local area.

15. The device of claim 1, also included an ability of automatic switch-back to normal cellular services and, if available and the user agrees, for dialing the telephone number from the message.

The device of claim 1 wherein wired and/or wireless downloading by the device and storing in the memory of the device of the different variants like category and/or content and/or structure of the data entry software also via an appropriate download device such as a computer equipped with Internet facilities.

The device in claim 1 wherein the device includes a portable wireless communication device wherein one communication mode consists of a system for support of normal cellular network provider services and a second communication mode, integrated or separated, comprising of the known functions and technology for short range radio communication, under management of the special application, user controlled entry of the specific data, stored in the device as a distributed database with wireless access also under management of the special application, automatically switching to the second communication mode, enabling a variety of point to multipoint transceiving of the specific customized encoded data strings, also equipped with the algorithm for matching and when matching, enabling of the messaging function and automatically switching to the normal cellular services for direct personal contact in a local area.

18. The device in claim 1 wherein the device includes a portable wireless communication device being a “

walkie-talkie”

-type of device having a single communication mode, comprising of the known functions and technology for short range radio communication included with the special fully automatic, partially exchangeable application, under management of the special application also using the algorithm for user controlled entry of the specific data, stored in the device as a distributed database with wireless access under management of the special application, to build from the specific data, the customized encoded data string, enabling transceiving of the customized encoded data strings, also using the algorithm for filtering of the received data string, matching and when matching, enabling of the messaging function for direct personal contact in a local area.

19. The device of claim 1 also including a method and system for dedicated partner search and selection for use with and/or adapted for incorporation in a variety of hard- and software systems and methods.

A system including at least two communication devices existing of any combination of any type of communication devices including computer type and/or mobile phone type of device, having said application for partner search and selection, also having functions and technology for regular Internet access including log in and submitting, filling out the personal resident download profile and/or the search profile, authorization for automatic search and matching with all other resident profiles from a profile category, residing on all other submitted communication devices.
