Abstract

A backlight module includes a planar light plate with planar illumination for providing a planar light, the backlight module further including a light plate base and at least one side retaining frames that can be assembled/detached. The light plate base is disposed on one side under the light plate, and two opposite sides thereof extend upward to form two side frames for retaining two opposite sides of the light plate. The side retaining frame is sleeved on the lateral side of the opening end of the light plate base, for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

Claims

1. A backlight module, comprising:

a light plate for outputting a planar light; and

a light plate base disposed under the light plate, two opposite sides of the light plate base extending upward respectively to form two side frames, the upper sides of the side frames extend toward the inside of the backlight module for wrapping the edges of the light plate.

2. The backlight module according to claim 1, wherein the inside of the side frames is an inclined or rectangular light-reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the light plate.

3. The backlight module according to claim 1, wherein light plate base is concaved toward the opposite direction of the light plate for forming a heat-dissipating space.

4. The backlight module according to claim 1, further comprising at least one side retaining frames sleeved on the lateral side of the light plate base opening except the side frame for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

5. The backlight module according to claim 4, wherein the inside of the side retaining frame is an inclined or rectangular light-reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the light plate.

6. The backlight module according to claim 4, wherein the side retaining frame is a sleeving frame for wrapping the lateral side of the light plate base opening and the lateral side of the light plate, in order to retain the light plate in the light plate base.

The backlight module according to claim 4, wherein the side retaining frame is an edge strip, two parallel tenons being extended orthogonally from the two ends of the edge strip for being inserted into the end holes of the side frame near the light plate base opening of the light plate base from the lateral side the light plate base opening, the edge strip retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

The backlight module according to claim 4, wherein the side retaining frame is an edge strip and two corner fixing elements, the edge strip wrapping the light plate from the lateral side of the light plate base opening for retaining the light plate, two tenons being extended orthogonally from the corner fixing element, the two tenons being inserted respectively into the end holes of the side frame near the light plate base opening and inserted into the holes at the ends of the edge strip, the edge strip being retained by the two corner fixing elements, for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

9. A fixing device of a light plate in a backlight module for fixing the light plate, the light plate outputting a planar light, the fixing device of the light plate comprising:

a light plate base disposed under the light plate, two opposite sides of the light plate base extending upward respectively to form two side frames; and

at least one side retaining frames movably sleeving on the-lateral side of the light plate base opening except the side frame, for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

10. The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein the upper edge of the side frame extends toward the inside of the backlight module for wrapping the two opposite sides of the light plate in order to retain the light plate and increase the cooling efficiency.

11. The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein the side retaining frame is a sleeving frame for wrapping the lateral side of the light plate base opening and the lateral side of the light plate, in order to retain the light plate in the light plate base.

The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein the side retaining frame is an edge strip, two parallel tenons being extended orthogonally from the two ends of the edge strip for being inserted into the end holes of the side frame near the light plate base opening from the lateral side of the light plate base opening, the edge strip retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

13. The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein the side retaining frame is an edge strip and two corner fixing elements, the edge strip wrapping the light plate from the lateral side of the light plate base opening for retaining the light plate, two tenons being extended orthogonally from the corner fixing element, the two tenons being inserted respectively into the end holes of the side frame near the light plate base opening and inserted into the holes at the ends of the edge strip, the edge strip being retained by the two corner fixing elements, the light plate being retained in the light plate base by the edge strip.

The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein a light-reflecting surface is extended from the inside of the upper edge of the side retaining frame toward the light plate, the inclined surface of the light-reflecting surface being upward or vertical for reflecting upward the light from the lateral side of the light plate.

The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, wherein a light-reflecting surface is extended from the inside of the upper edge of the side frame toward the light plate, the inclined surface of the light-reflecting surface being upward or vertical for reflecting upward the light from the lateral side of the light plate.

The fixing device of a light plate according to claim 9, further comprising two side sleeving frames for sleeving onto the two side frames respectively, the upper of the side sleeving frame extending toward the inside of the backlight module for wrapping the edge of the light plate in order to retain the light plate and increase the cooling efficiency.

17. A backlight module, comprising:

a light plate for outputting a planar light;

a light plate base disposed under the light plate, two opposite sides of the light plate base extending upward respectively to form two side frames; and

at least one side sleeving frames movably sleeving on the lateral side of the side frames, the upper of the side sleeving frame extending toward the inside of the backlight module for wrapping the edge of the light plate in order to retain the light plate.

18. The backlight module according to claim 17, wherein the upper of the side sleeving frames extends toward the inside of the backlight module to contact with the light plate for increasing the cooling effect.

19. The backlight module according to claim 17, wherein the inner surface of the side sleeving frame is an inclined or vertical light-reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the light plate.

20. The backlight module according to claim 17, further comprising at least one side retaining frames movably sleeving on the lateral side of the light plate base opening except the side frame for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

21. A backlight module, comprising:

a light plate module including a light plate and a case, the light plate being disposed in the case; and

a light plate base with grooves on opposite lateral sides, an opening being on the lateral side adjacent to the grooves, the light plate module sliding into the light plate base through the opening.

22. The backlight module according to claim 21, wherein the lateral side of the light plate base extends upward and vertically inward to form a side frame, and the inside of the side frame is the groove.

23. The backlight module according to claim 21, wherein a side retaining frame is disposed outside the same side or the opposite side of the opening.

24. The backlight module according to claim 21, wherein the light module is a drawable light plate module.

25. A backlight module, comprising:

a back cover;

a planar light plate disposed on the back cover for providing a planar light; and

a light plate supporting element disposed on the back cover, the planar light plate being disposed on the light plate supporting element for forming a chamber between the back cover and the planar light plate in order to provide a cooling space for the planar light plate.

26. The backlight module according to claim 25, further comprising a diffusing plate and a diffusing plate supporting element, the diffusing plate being disposed on the planar light plate, the diffusing plate supporting element being disposed between the diffusing plate and the planar light plate for supporting the diffusing plate.

27. The backlight module according to claim 26, wherein the diffusing plate supporting element includes a light-reflecting surface for reflecting the light from the planar light plate to the diffusing plate.

28. The backlight module according to claim 26, wherein a chamber is formed between the diffusing plate and the planar light plate in order to provide a cooling space for the planar light plate.
