Abstract

A relay device installed in a moving unit can, by notifying an own identification number to a mobile communication network along with identification numbers of all mobile communication terminals subordinate to itself, perform en bloc updating of location registration area information of these mobile communication terminals. This relay device can receive an en bloc paging request wherein paging requests to plural subordinate mobile communication terminals are aggregated, reconstruct the received en bloc paging request, and transmit the paging requests to each of the mobile communication terminals subordinate to itself.

50. A wireless mobile communication controlling method, wherein

a wireless mobile communication terminal registers, with a wireless mobile communication network, its own location registration area information indicating the location registration area where the wireless mobile communication terminal exists;

and wherein, in the case that the wireless mobile communication terminal is contained in a moving unit and is subordinate to the moving unit after that the wireless mobile communication terminal is registered to subordinate to the moving unit, the wireless mobile communication terminal does not register, with the wireless mobile communication network, its own location registration area information;

wherein in the event that there has been a change in a location registration area in which the moving unit exists, the moving unit registers, with the wireless mobile communication network, its own location registration area information indicating the location registration area where the moving unit exists;

wherein

the moving unit registers, with the wireless mobile communication network, that the wireless mobile communication terminal is subordinate to the moving unit; and

wherein, in the event that the wireless mobile communication terminal received advertisement information from the moving unit, the wireless mobile communication terminal notifies the moving unit of a registration request;

and wherein, on receiving the registration request, the moving unit registers, with the moving unit as well as with the wireless mobile communication network, that the wireless mobile communication terminal is subordinate to the moving unit.

The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claim 50, wherein, in the event there has been a change in the location registration area corresponding to the moving unit, the moving unit registers, with the wireless mobile communication network, that the wireless mobile communication terminal is subordinate to the moving unit.

The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claims 50, wherein the moving unit registers its own moving unit identification number and a terminal identification number corresponding to the wireless mobile communication terminal which is subordinate to the moving unit, so as to register that the wireless mobile communication terminal is subordinate to the moving unit.

The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claims 51, wherein, in the event that a wireless mobile communication terminal which has been subordinate to the moving unit departs from the moving unit, the wireless mobile communication terminal notifies a release request to the wireless mobile communication network;

and

wherein, on receiving the release request, the wireless mobile communication network registers that the wireless mobile communication terminal does not subordinate to the moving unit.

54. The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claim 53, wherein the wireless mobile communication terminal notifies, via the moving unit, the release request to the wireless mobile communication network.

55. The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claim 50, wherein the moving unit registers, with the moving unit that the wireless mobile communication terminal is subordinate to the moving unit.

56. The wireless mobile communication controlling method according to claim 55, wherein, in the event that a wireless mobile communication terminal which has been subordinate to the moving unit departs from the moving unit, the wireless mobile communication terminal notifies the moving unit of a release request;

and

wherein, on receiving the release request, the moving unit registers that the wireless mobile communication terminal does not subordinate to the moving unit.
