Abstract

Floorboards for making a floating floor have a core (30) which comprises at least two layers of material (L1, L2), which are arranged at different distances from the surface layer (31), and which differ in respect of material properties or material composition. Semi manufactures for making such floorboards are also disclosed.

Claims

1. A floorboard for making a laminate flooring, the floorboard having a core and a surface layer, comprising a thermosetting resin, arranged on an upper side of the core, wherein

the core comprises at least two joined layers of material, which are arranged at different distances from the surface layer, and which differ in respect of material properties or material composition, and in that

a first core layer, closest to the surface layer, comprises HDF or MDF.

2. The floorboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein the surface layer is a direct laminate.

The floorboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein connecting means, arranged along at least two opposite edge portions of said floorboard, for connecting said floorboard with a substantially similar floorboard in a vertical direction perpendicular to said surface layer and in a horizontal direction perpendicular to said vertical direction and to said edge portions.

4. The floorboard as claimed in claim 3, wherein the said connecting means are designed for connecting the floorboard with said substantially similar floorboard by inward angling and/or snapping-in to a locked position.

5. The floorboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein the core comprises a sound absorbing or reducing layer.

6. The floorboard as claimed in claim 5, wherein said sound absorbing or reducing layer is arranged in an upper part of said floorboard.

The floorboard as claimed in claim 6, wherein said floorboard comprises vertical locking means for connecting said floorboard with a substantially similar floorboard in a vertical direction perpendicular to said surface layer and in that said sound absorbing or reducing layer is arranged at a vertical level between said surface layer and an upper part of said vertical locking means.

8. The floorboard as claimed in claim 5, wherein said sound absorbing or reducing layer comprises rubber or a rubber-like material.

9. The floorboard as claimed in claim 5, wherein said sound absorbing or reducing layer comprises cork.

10. The floorboard as claimed claim 5, wherein a first core layer comprises HDF, a second core layer, arranged below said first core layer, comprises HDF, and in that a third core layer, arranged between said first and second core layers, comprises cork.

11. The floorboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first core layer comprises HDF, and in that a second core layer comprises particle board.

12. The floorboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first core layer comprises HDF, and in that a second core layer comprises MDF.

13. A semi manufacture for manufacturing floorboards for laminate flooring, said semi manufacture having a core, and a surface layer, comprising a thermosetting resin, arranged on an upper side of the core, wherein

the core comprises at least two layers of material which are arranged at different distances from the surface layer, and which differ in respect of material properties or material composition, and in that wherein

a core layer closest to the surface layer comprises HDF or MDF.

14. A floorboard for making a wood flooring, the floorboard having a core comprising wood lamellae and a surface layer arranged on an upper side of the core, wherein

the core comprises at least two layers of material which are arranged at different distances from the surface layer, and which differ in respect of material properties or material composition, and wherein

a core layer closest to the surface layer comprises HDF or MDF,

wherein said surface layer is a wood veneer, which is arranged on said HDF or MDF layer.

15. The floorboard as claimed in claim 14, wherein a thickness of said surface layer is less than 2 mm and preferably between 0.6 and 1.5 mm.

The floorboard as claimed in claim 14, wherein connecting means, arranged along at least two opposite edge portions of said floorboard, for connecting said floorboard with a substantially similar floorboard in a vertical direction perpendicular to said surface layer and in a horizontal direction perpendicular to said vertical direction and to said edge portions.

17. The floorboard as claimed in claim 16, wherein the said connecting means are designed for connecting the floorboard with said substantially similar floorboard by inward angling and/or snapping-in to a locked position.

18. The floorboard as claimed in claim 14, wherein the core comprises a sound absorbing or reducing layer.

19. The floorboard as claimed in claim 18, wherein the sound absorbing or reducing layer comprises rubber, a rubber-like material or cork.

20. A semi manufacture for manufacturing floorboards for wood flooring, said semi manufacture having a core comprising wood lamellae and a surface layer arranged on an upper side of the core, wherein

the core comprises at least two layers of material which are arranged at different distances from the surface layer, and which differ in respect of material properties or material composition, and wherein

a core layer closest to the surface layer comprises HDF or MDF, wherein said surface layer is a wood veneer, which is arranged on said HDF or MDF layer.
