an infusion pump including;
a dispenser for dispensing the fluid;
an RF telemetry portion configured to receive an RF data signal, from the remote controller, that is broadcast in a non-restricted frequency band;
a processing portion configured to process the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion, and control the dispenser in accordance with the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion.

Abstract

An RF telemetry portion is configured to receive an RF data signal, from the remote controller, that is broadcast in a non-restricted frequency band. A processing portion is configured to process the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion, and control the dispenser in accordance with the RF data signal received by the RF telemetry portion.
