Abstract

A computer system analyzing apparatus includes an acquiring unit which acquires information indicating at least use states of a plurality of computer resources, and a detecting unit which detects whether each of the use states of the computer resources which are indicated by the information corresponds to a state determined as an unreasonable state in advance.

Claims

1. A computer system analyzing apparatus comprising:

an acquiring unit which acquires information indicating at least use states of a plurality of computer resources; and

a detecting unit which detects whether each of the use states of the computer resources which are indicated by the information corresponds to a state determined as an unreasonable state in advance.

2. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:

the acquiring unit acquires information indicating processings respectively associated with users of the computer resources or processings which are respectively executed by the computer resources; and

the detecting unit detects whether each of the computer resources is not suitable for a respective one of the processings indicated by the information, with respect to a function of said each computer resource.

3. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:

the acquiring unit acquires information indicating frequencies of use of the computer resources; and

the detecting unit detects whether the frequencies of use of the computer resources are unbalanced.

4. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:

the acquiring unit acquires information indicating distances between a main place for a user who is now using one of the computer resources and places where the computer resources are respectively provided; and

the detecting unit detects whether the distance between the main place and the place where said one of the computer resources is provided is greater than the distance between the main place and the place where any of the computer resources is provided.

5. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:

the acquiring unit acquires information indicating which users are now using the computer resources, respectively; and

the detecting unit detect whether a function of one of the computer resources which is now being used by a user is worse than that of another one of the computer resource which is ordinarily used by the user, and

the computer system further comprising an indicating unit which informs the user that there is a possibility that processing which is performed by said one of the computer resources could not be performed, when the detecting unit detects that the function of said one of the computer resources is worse than that of said another one of the computer resources.

6. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein:

the acquiring unit acquires information indicating an attribute of a user who is now using any of the computer resources;

the detecting unit detects whether a function of said any of the computer resources is lower than a necessary function determined based on the attribute of the user.

7. The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein one of the computer resources is an image displaying device which displays a medical image.

The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 1, which further comprises a plan preparing unit which prepares, when the detecting unit detects that any of the use states of the computer resources which are indicated by the information corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, a plan for solving a problem of said any of the use states.

The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the plan prepared by the plan preparing unit is a plan which suggests that one of the computer resources which is associated with said any of the use states be replaced by another computer resource or said one of the computer resources and another one of the computer resources be interchanged.

The computer system analyzing apparatus according to claim 9, wherein when a number of computer recourses are detected as candidate computer resources for said one of the computer resource or said another one of the computer resources, the plan preparing unit (i) weights values to scores of the number of computer resources, which are determined based on a plurality of kinds of attributes associated with the number of computer resources, the value being determined in accordance with significance values of the attributes, (ii) calculates total scores of the number of computer resources, (iii) narrows the number of computer resources down to a more suitable one or ones based on the total scores of the number of computer resources, and (iv) prepares the plan.

11. A computer system analyzing method comprising:

acquiring information indicating at least use states of a plurality of computer resources; and

detecting whether each of the use states of the computer resources which are indicated by the information corresponds to a state determined as an unreasonable state in advance.

12. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein:

the acquired information is information indicating processings respectively associated with users of the computer resources or processings which are respectively executed by the computer resources; and

in the detecting whether said each use state corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, it is detected whether each of the computer resources is not suitable for a respective one of the processings indicated by the information, with respect to a function of said each computer resource.

13. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein:

the acquired information is information indicating frequencies of use of the computer resources; and

in the detecting whether said each use state corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, it is detected whether the frequencies of use of the computer resources are unbalanced.

14. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein:

the acquired information is information indicating distances between a main place for a user who is now using one of the computer resources at the present time and places where the computer resources are respectively provided; and

in the detecting whether said each use state corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, it is detected whether the distance between the main place and the place where said one of the computer resources is provided is greater than the distance between the main place and the place where any of the computer resources is provided.

15. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein:

the acquired information is information indicating which users are now using the computer resources, respectively; and

in the detecting whether said each use state corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, it is detected whether a function of one of the computer resources which is now being used by a user is worse than that of another one of the computer resources which is ordinarily used by the user.

the computer system further comprising informing the user that there is a possibility that processing which is performed by said another one of the computer resource could not be performed, when it is detected that the function of said one of the computer resources is worse than that of said another one of the computer resources.

16. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein:

the acquired information is information indicating an attribute of a user who is now using any of the computer resources;

in the detecting whether said each use state corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, it is detected whether a function of said any of the computer resources is lower than a necessary function determined based on the attribute of the user.

17. The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, wherein one of the computer resources is an image displaying device which displays a medical image.

The computer system analyzing method according to claim 11, which further comprises preparing, when it is detected that any of the use states of the computer resources which are indicated by the information corresponds to the state determined as the unreasonable state, a plan for solving a problem of said any of the use states.

The computer system analyzing method according to claim 18, wherein the prepared plan suggests that one of the computer resources which is associated with said any of the use states be replaced by another computer resource or said one of the computer resources and another one of the computer resources be interchanged.

The computer system analyzing method according to claim 19, wherein when a number of computer recourses are detected as candidate computer resources for said one of the computer resource or said another one of the computer resources, (i) values are weighted to scores of the number of computer resources detected as the candidate computer resources, which are determined based on a plurality of kinds of attributes associated with the number of computer resources, in accordance with significance values of the attributes, (ii) total scores of the number of computer resources are calculated, (iii) the number of computer resources are narrowed down to a more suitable one or ones based on the total scores of the number of computer resources;

and (iv) the plan is prepared.
