Abstract

An interior lining part, in particular a roof liner for a vehicle, includes at least a relatively dimensionally stable core layer and a decorative layer facing the interior of the vehicle as well as a reinforcing profile extending at least partially essentially along an edge of the interior lining part. The core layer and the decorative layer exhibit bent over end sections for the formation of the edge. The reinforcing profile exhibits at least a first profile section running essentially in the direction of the end section of the core layer and a second profile section extending outwards from it.

Claims

1. Interior lining part, in particular a roof liner for a vehicle, comprising at least a relatively dimensionally stable core layer and a decorative layer facing the interior of the vehicle as well as a reinforcing profile extending at least partially essentially along an edge of the interior lining part, whereby the core layer and the decorative layer exhibit bent over end sections for the formation of the edge wherein the reinforcing profile exhibits at least a first profile section running essentially in the direction of the end section of the core layer and a second profile section extending outwards from it.

2. Interior lining part according to claim 1, wherein the end section of the decorative layer exhibits a bead section, which at least covers a free end of the end section of the core layer.

3. Interior lining part according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the bead section extends up to the inner side of the end section of the core layer and at least a portion of the reinforcing profile is arranged between both.

4. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the second profile section at least partially covers the free end of the end section of the core layer and is arranged between it and the bead section.

5. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the edge of the interior lining part is an opening edge surrounding a sun-roof opening.

6. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the second profile section is joined by means of a joint bend to the first profile section.

7. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the first profile section is joined at its end facing away from the second profile section to a third profile section which essentially extends along at least the core layer outside the edge.

8. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the reinforcing profile is formed approximately Z-shaped.

9. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the reinforcing profile is part of a reinforcing frame of the interior lining part.

10. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the reinforcing profile is formed from metal.

11. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein at least a free end of the second profile section is arranged recessed in the free end of the end section of the core layer.

12. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the reinforcing profile can be joined to the core layer when it is formed.

13. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the reinforcing profile is part of the core layer during formation.

14. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein after the core layer is formed, the reinforcing profile can be arranged between it and the bead section and can be joined to the bead section.

15. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the bead section extends along the first and second profile up to approximately the third profile section.

16. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein the bead section exhibits a lesser layer thickness relative to the rest of the decorative layer.

17. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein a length of the reinforcing profile essentially corresponds to the depth of the sun-roof opening.

18. Interior lining part according to one of the previous claims, wherein at least one of the core layer and the decorative layer exhibits two or more single layers.
