Abstract
A weatherseal having an improved show surface is provided with an exterior cap that is either hinged to the body or separately formed and subsequently assembled thereto. The components of the weatherseal may be either extruded or molded, and the hinge provides the ability to form the assembly as one piece and then snap-fit the other end of the exterior cap into place over the body of the weatherseal.
