1. A method for deploying a VoIP telephone system to a location, the VoIP telephone system including a server for managing communication to and from one or more VoIP telephones via a network, the method comprising the step of:
- (a) collecting information associated with a dial plan for a plurality of users for a location and updating the dial plan;
(b) automatically generating a plurality of output data files comprising data from the dial plan, each output data file being generated for each unique combination of VoIP telephone type, number of extensions per VoIP telephone and calling search space for the location; and
(c) configuring the server of the VoIP telephone system via each unique output data file.
