Abstract

Systems and methods to provide a UI includes providing a program with a dynamic content to specify a view; and rendering the view based on the dynamic content.

Claims

1. A method to provide a UI, comprising:

providing a program with a dynamic content to specify a view; and

rendering the view based on the dynamic content.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the program is a browser plug-in.

3. The method of claim 1, comprising requesting the dynamic content from a server.

4. The method of claim 1, comprising embedding the dynamic content in a browser in the program.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the dynamic content is encoded as a mark-up language.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein the language is HTML.

7. The method of claim 5, wherein the rendering is controlled by one or more commands each encapsulated in a tag whose contents are ignored by a parser for the mark-up language.

8. The method of claim 5, wherein the rendering is controlled by one or more commands each encapsulated in a comment.

9. The method of claim 1, comprising displaying a model based on the dynamic content.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the model is a 3D model.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the model comprises a tooth model.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the content content specifies one or more view characteristics

13. The method of claim 12, wherein the view characteristics comprise one or more of the following:

camera position, camera named view point, grid enable, grid position, resolution, zoom level and timebase.

14. The method of claim 12, wherein the view characteristics comprise one or more of the following:

tooth overcorrection, dental attachment, interproximal reduction, jaw.

15. The method of claim 1, wherein the dynamic content relates to approving a dental treatment plan.

16. A system to provide a UI, comprising:

means for providing a program with a dynamic content to specify a view; and

means for rendering the view based on the dynamic content.

17. The system of claim 16, wherein the program is a browser plug-in.

18. The system of claim 16, comprising means for requesting the dynamic content from a server.

19. The system of claim 16, comprising means for embedding the dynamic content in a browser in the program.

20. The system of claim 16, wherein the dynamic content is encoded as a mark-up language.
