Abstract

Device for supplying a data transfer unit with energy, having an energy supply input via which the energy can be fed into the data transfer unit, and a decoupling unit for coupling and decoupling the energy supply input to and from the data transfer unit, wherein the decoupling unit decouples when a supply voltage for the data transfer unit leaves a tolerance range.

Claims

1. A device for supplying a data transfer unit with energy, comprising:

an energy supply input via which the energy can be fed into the data transfer unit; and

a decoupling unit for coupling and decoupling the energy supply input to and from the data transfer unit,

wherein the decoupling unit decouples when a supply voltage for the data transfer unit leaves a tolerance range.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the energy is fed into the data transfer unit contactlessly by means of an electric field.

3. The device of claim 1, further comprising an energy store, which can be connected as required to the data transfer unit.

4. The device of claim 3, wherein the energy store has a capacitance.

5. The device of claim 3, further comprising a switch for connecting the energy store to the data transfer unit.

6. The device of claim 5, further comprising a control unit for controlling the switch,

wherein the control unit connects the energy supply input to the data transfer unit if the supply voltage leaves the tolerance range.

7. The device of claim 5, wherein the switch is an N-channel MOS transistor.

8. The device of claim 2, further comprising a diode connected between the energy supply input and the data transfer unit.

9. The device of claim 1, further comprising a further diode connected between the energy store and the energy supply input.

10. The device of claim 1, further comprising a series regulator, which keeps the supply voltage of the data transfer unit constant.

11. The device of claim 10, wherein the series regulator has a transistor connected between the energy supply input and the data transfer unit.

12. The device of claim 1, further comprising a further capacitance connected in parallel with the data transfer unit.

13. The device of claim 1, wherein the tolerance range is prescribed by a modulation index of at most 14%.

14. The device of claim 3, wherein the data transfer unit is decoupled from the energy store during a data transfer.

15. A device for supplying a data transfer means with energy, comprising:

an energy supply input means via which the energy can be fed into the data transfer means; and

a decoupling means for coupling and decoupling the energy supply input means to and from the data transfer means,

wherein the decoupling means decouples when a supply voltage for the data transfer means leaves a tolerance range.

16. The device of claim 15, wherein the energy is fed into the data transfer means contactlessly by means of an electric field.

17. The device of claim 15, further comprising an energy storage means, which can be connected as required to the data transfer means.

18. The device of claim 17, wherein the energy storage means has a capacitance.

19. The device of claim 17, further comprising a switching means for connecting the energy storage means to the data transfer means.

20. The device of claim 19, further comprising a control means for controlling the switching means,

wherein the control means connects the energy supply input means to the data transfer means if the supply voltage leaves the tolerance range.

21. The device of claim 19, wherein the switching means is an N-channel MOS transistor.

22. The device of claim 16, further comprising a diode connected between the energy supply input means and the data transfer means.

23. The device of claim 15, further comprising a further diode connected between the energy storage means and the energy supply input means.

24. The device of claim 15, further comprising a series regulating means, which keeps the supply voltage of the data transfer means constant.

25. The device of claim 24, wherein the series regulating means has a transistor connected between the energy supply input means and the data transfer means.

26. The device of claim 15, further comprising a further capacitance connected in parallel with the data transfer means.

27. The device of claim 15, wherein the tolerance range is prescribed by a modulation index of at most 14%.

28. The device of claim 17, wherein the data transfer means is decoupled from the energy storage means during a data transfer.

29. A method for supplying a data transfer unit with energy, comprising the steps of:

feeding energy into the data transfer unit via an energy supply input; and

decoupling the energy supply input from the data transfer unit when a supply voltage for the data transfer unit leaves a tolerance range.

30. The method of claim 29, wherein the energy is fed into the data transfer unit contactlessly by means of an electric field.

31. The method of claim 29, further comprising the step of connecting an energy store as required to the data transfer unit.

32. The method of claim 31, wherein the energy store has a capacitance.

33. The method of claim 31, further comprising the step of connecting via a switch the energy store to the data transfer unit.

34. The method of claim 33, further comprising the steps of controlling via a control unit the switch, and connecting by means of the control unit the energy supply input to the data transfer unit if the supply voltage leaves the tolerance range.

35. The method of claim 33, wherein the switch is an N-channel MOS transistor.

36. The method of claim 30, further comprising the step of providing a diode between the energy supply input and the data transfer unit.

37. The method of claim 29, further comprising the step of providing a further diode between the energy store and the energy supply input.

38. The method of claim 29, further comprising the step of providing a series regulator, which keeps the supply voltage of the data transfer unit constant.

39. The method of claim 38, wherein the series regulator has a transistor connected between the energy supply input and the data transfer unit.

40. The method of claim 29, further comprising the step of providing a further capacitance in parallel with the data transfer unit.

41. The method of claim 29, wherein the tolerance range is prescribed by a modulation index of at most 14%.

42. The method of claim 31, further comprising the step of decoupling the data transfer unit from the energy store during a data transfer.
