1. A method to inspect an exterior component of a residential building containing EIFS for moisture wherein said exterior residential building component is selected from the group consisting of wall, eave and facia under certain weather conditions, by obtaining at least one temperature profile;
- comprising step of;
elevating the interior temperature of said residential building to a degree to facilitate contrast of the at least one temperature profile;
obtaining said at least one temperature profile of the exterior residential building component; and
assessing said at least one temperature profile of the exterior residential building component for a thermal anomaly indicative of moisture, wherein the weather conditions at the time of inspection include low wind and temperature of greater than 45°
F. at said exterior of said residential building.
