Abstract

Real time data integration jobs are deployed in a services oriented architecture as services that allow multiple service bindings.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

providing a module, the module being a code module for executing a data integration job;

providing a registry of services;

identifying the code module in the registry of services; and

facilitating access to the code module in real time from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture, wherein the code module may be accessed by more than one type of service binding.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job comprises an extraction job.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job comprises a data transformation job.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job comprises a loading job.

5. The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job comprises a metadata management job.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein the data integration job comprises a data quality job.

7. The method of claim 1 wherein at least one of the types of service binding is an EJB binding.

8. The method of claim 1 wherein at least one of the types of service binding is a SOAP binding.

9. The method of claim 1 wherein at least one of the types of service binding is a JMS binding.

10. The method of claim 1 wherein at least one of the types of service binding is a web service binding.

11. A system comprising:

a module, the module being a code module for executing a data integration job; and

a registry of services;

wherein the code module is identified in the registry of services;

wherein access to the code module is facilitated in real time from the registry of services via a services oriented architecture; and

wherein the code module may be accessed by more than one type of service binding.

12. The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration service comprises an extraction job.

13. The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration service comprises a data transformation job.

14. The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration service comprises a loading job.

15. The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration service comprises a metadata management job.

16. The system of claim 11 wherein the data integration service comprises a data quality job.

17. The system of claim 11 wherein at least one of the types of service binding is an EJB binding.

18. The system of claim 11 wherein at least one of the types of binding is a SOAP binding.

19. The system of claim 11 wherein at least one of the types of binding is a JMS binding.

20. The system of claim 11 wherein at least one of the types of binding is a web service binding.
