1. A method for capturing a broadcast, said method comprising:
- detecting an approximate start time of the broadcast;
identifying the broadcast and a timed length thereof, such that, based on the timed length and the approximate start time, an approximate end time may be calculated;
adjusting the approximate start time and the approximate end time by buffer window; and
recording the broadcast from said adjusted start time to said adjusted end time, wherein said recording has captured the broadcast of radio advertising.

The method for capturing a broadcast includes detecting an approximate start time of the broadcast, identifying the broadcast and a timed length thereof, such that, based on the timed length and the approximate start time, an approximate end time may be calculated, adjusting the approximate start time and the approximate end time by buffer window, and recording the broadcast from said adjusted start time to the adjusted end time, wherein the recording has captured the broadcast of radio advertising.
