Abstract

A data acquisition system that comprises several mobile terminals (2), each comprising a broadcast receiver (21) for receiving the broadcast signals that are unidirectionally transmitted from a broadcasting station (13) via an air interface (12) and a mobile radio module (22) for the communication via a mobile network (3).

Furthermore, the mobile terminals (2) each include means for providing data accounting, their contents depending on the broadcast signals received and, for example, on data relating to the signal quality of the received broadcast signals. The data acquisition system comprises a memory (5) connected to the mobile network (3).

The data accountings provided are transmitted from the mobile terminals (2) by means of the mobile radio modules (22) via the mobile network (3) where they are stored in the memory (5).

Claims

1. Data acquisition system, comprising several mobile terminals, each including a broadcast receiver for the purpose of receiving broadcast signals, that are transmitted unidirectionally from a broadcast station via an air interface, and a mobile radio module for the communication via a mobile network, wherein

the mobile terminals each comprise means for providing data accountings, which contents depend on the received broadcast signals,

the system includes a data memory connected with the mobile network,

said means are constituted in such a way that they supply the provided data accountings to the mobile radio module for the transmission to the memory,

2. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include a quality determination module for the determination of the signal quality of the broadcast signals received from the broadcasting station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce data related to the determined broadcast signal quality as data elements into said data accountings.

3. System according to claim 1, wherein

each mobile terminals includes a field strength measuring module for measuring the field strength of the broadcast signals received from the broadcasting station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the measured broadcast field-strength values as data elements into said data accountings.

4. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each have a position determination module for the purpose of determining the current geographical position of the mobile terminal,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the determined current geographical position as data elements into said data accountings.

5. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include a decoder connected to the broadcast receiver in order to obtain broadcast data contained in the broadcast signals received from the broadcast station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce certain obtained broadcast data as data elements into said data accountings.

6. System according to claim 5, wherein said means are constituted in such a way that they introduce broadcast transmitter identification contained in the obtained broadcast data as data elements into said data accountings.

7. System according to one of the claims 5 or 6, wherein

the mobile terminals each include an error determination module connected to the decoder, for the purpose of determining the bit error rate of the broadcast signal received from the broadcasting station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the determined broadcast bit error rate as data elements into said data accountings.

8. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include a quality determination module in order to determine the signal quality of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the data related to the determined mobile radio communication signal quality as data elements into said data accountings.

9. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include a field strength measuring module for the purpose of measuring the field strength of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the measured mobile radio field-strength values as data elements into said data accountings.

10. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include an error determination module for the purpose of determining the bit error rate of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the measured mobile radio bit error rate as data elements into said data accountings.

11. System according to claim 1, wherein

the mobile terminals each include an identifier module with an identifier data element stored in it,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the identifier data element into said data accountings.

12. System according to clam 1, wherein said means are constituted in such a way that they introduce data elements, which values are determined at the same time schedule, each other assigned into said data accountings.

13. Mobile terminal comprising a broadcast receiver for receiving broadcast signals that are unidirectionally transmitted from a broadcasting transmitter via an air interface, and a mobile radio module for the communication via a mobile network, wherein

the mobile terminal comprises means for providing data accountings, which contents depend on the broadcast signals received,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they supply the provided data accountings to the mobile radio module for their transmission to the data memory.

14. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a quality determination module for the purpose of determining the signal quality of the broadcast signals received from the broadcast station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the data relating to the determined broadcast signal quality as data elements into said data accountings.

15. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a field strength measuring module for the purpose of measuring the field strength of the broadcast signals received from the broadcast station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the measured broadcast field-strength values as data elements into said data accountings.

16. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a position determination module for the purpose of determining the current geographical position of the mobile terminal,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the determined current geographical position as data elements into said data accountings.

17. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a decoder connected to the broadcast receiver for obtaining the broadcast data contained in the broadcast signals received from the broadcast station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce certain elements of the obtained broadcast data as data elements into said data accountings.

18. Mobile terminal according to claim 17, wherein said means are constituted in such a way that they introduce a broadcast station identification contained in the obtained broadcast data as data element into said data accountings.

19. Mobile terminal according to one of the claims 17 or 18, wherein

it comprises an error determination module connected to the decoder for the purpose of determining the bit error rate of the broadcast signals received from the broadcasting station,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the determined bit error rate as data elements into said data accountings.

20. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a quality determination module for the purpose to determine the signal quality of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce data relating to the determined mobile radio communication signal quality as data elements into said data accountings.

21. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises a field strength measuring module for the purpose of measuring the field strength of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way they introduce the measured mobile radio field-strength values as data elements into said data accountings.

22. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein

it comprises an error determination module for the purpose of determining the bit error rate of the mobile radio signals received from the base stations of the mobile network,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the measured mobile radio bit error rate as data elements into said data accountings.

23. Mobile terminal according claim 13, wherein

it comprises an identifier module with an identifier data element stored in it,

the means for providing data accountings are constituted in such a way that they introduce the identifier data element into said data accountings.

24. Mobile terminal according to claim 13, wherein said means are constituted in such a way that they introduce data elements, which values are determined at the same time schedule, each other assigned into said data accountings
