1. A liner composite comprising:
- a fluid pervious liner having a bodyfacing surface and a lower surface;
a topographical surge material having a bodyfacing surface, and a plurality of topographical features, at least a portion of the bodyfacing surface of the topographical surge material in facing relationship with at least a portion of the lower surface of the fluid pervious liner;
wherein at least a portion of the topographical features are imparted onto the bodyfacing surface of the fluid pervious liner, and a plurality of the topographical features imparted onto the bodyfacing surface of the fluid pervious liner have an amplitude of greater than about 2.5 mm.

a topographical surge material having a plurality of topographical features, the topographical surge material disposed between the absorbent core and the fluid pervious bodyside liner;
