1. An organic electroluminescent device, comprising:

  • a substrate;

    an organic electroluminescent unit formed on the substrate, the organic electroluminescent unit comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and an organic luminescent unit interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;

    a sealing substrate joined with the substrate to seal the organic electroluminescent unit; and

    a sealing layer formed on the sealing substrate, the sealing layer comprising a cohesion layer to attach the sealing layer to the sealing substrate, a transparent polymer layer on the cohesion layer, and a transparent moisture absorption layer on the transparent polymer layer to absorb moisture in a sealed space formed by joining the sealing substrate with the substrate.
